Do you love a good smoothie or want to give them a try?  We are HUGE smoothie fans over here. ☺️ They are such a great way to start the day & give your body something easy to digest that is chock full of goodness. 🙌🏼

I wanted to share my top 5 go-to’s to create the best balanced smoothie that will not only keep you satiated but also make sure you keep your blood sugar in check, too.☑️

Be sure to include a good :

✨PROTEIN : Any clean, organic vegan, vegetarian or grass fed isolate protein powder.

✨GREENS: Think organic spinach, zucchini, kale, basil, cilantro, cucumber, parsley, etc. I personally prefer them frozen.

✨FIBER: Organic ground flax seeds, chia seeds or avocado are some easy choices!

✨HEALTHY FAT: Organic nut butter, MCT oil, avocado and coconut oil are some great choices!

✨LIQUID: Water, a clean organic nut milk, hemp milk, coconut water, etc. I also like to add some organic cold brew when wanting a more coffee like taste. 

✨OPTIONAL ADD-IN’s : Superfoods such as a clean organic greens powder, ceylon cinnamon, collagen, hemp hearts, tumeric, bee pollen, chia seeds, coconut flakes, cacoa nibs, celtic sea salt, ginger, etc. are awesome ways to give it an extra boost.

It’s amazing what a little honey, lemon juice & ceylon cinnamon can do! Together they create a powerful healing combination with numerous health benefits, especially for sore or irritated throats & dry or post nasal drip coughs.

This simple healing remedy is something my mother gave to my sister & I as children, & I have carried the tradition on with ours. I recommend it so often to my friends & clients, that I knew I had to share here, too.😊

Individually :
🍯 Honey, a natural antibacterial & anti-inflammatory agent, helps soothe the throat & support the immune system. 
🍋 Lemon juice, rich in vitamin C, aids in detoxification, boosts immunity & promotes digestion. 
🤎Ceylon cinnamon, often referred to as “true” cinnamon, has potent antioxidant & anti-inflammatory properties, & also known to help regulate blood sugar & improve circulation. 

Together they :
1. Soothe Irritation: Honey coats the throat, providing a soothing effect that helps relieve dryness, irritation & scratchiness.
2. Reduce Inflammation: Ceylon cinnamon has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce swelling & discomfort in the throat, making swallowing easier.
3. Antibacterial Properties: Honey has natural antibacterial & antimicrobial properties, which can help fight infection & promote healing.
4. Vitamin C Boost: Lemon juice provides vitamin C, which strengthens the immune system & helps the body fight off infections.
5. Promote Healing: The combination of honey & lemon helps break down mucus, clearing congestion & aiding in faster recovery.

Himalayan salt lamps!🧡⚡️We have one in every room in our home, however I recently purchased these easy wall plug-in night lights for our bathrooms because I was so tired of trying to keep the house calm & dimly lit at night only for the kiddos to just blare the lights on bright when brushing their teeth & getting ready for bed, etc (& in turn disrupting their circadian rhythms). 👎🏼

I surprised the kiddos with these in their bathroom & it was pretty cool to hear them immediately tell me not only did they LOVE them, but they also felt “so peaceful.” ☺️ #outofthemouthofbabes

Writing down your to-dos can have a powerful impact on productivity & mental clarity. 💥When you jot down tasks, you’re not only creating a clear plan, but you’re also freeing your mind from the constant mental clutter of remembering everything. It’s known to help reduce stress, boost motivation & help you stay focused on what truly matters. 

Taking time weekly (I prefer to do it on Sunday or Monday) to physically write down my To-Do’s has been a game changer for me. There is just something magical that happens by writing all the stuff that clutters up our mental space down! 

Plus, there’s nothing more satisfying than crossing off completed tasks. ☺️ If you are looking to lessen stress & have a simple but effective way to stay organized and on track, I can’t encourage this enough!
