🍂 Fall Makeup Look 🍂

Using one of my favorite palettes, the Hung Vanngo Timeless Taupes Color Story Eyeshadow Palette 🤎✨

Soft taupes, rich browns, and those beautiful neutral tones make this such an easy, timeless fall look. Perfect when you want something polished and glam without going too bold.

Would you wear this taupe-toned look for fall? 🍁

✨ Wearing makeup outside of your comfort zone ✨

Sometimes you just have to trust the process and try the colors you normally wouldn’t reach for! 💚🤎

The deeper tones, like the Chantecaille Glide Eye Pencil in Garnet, are such a beautiful way to make both green and brown eyes pop. Add a bold eye + bold cheek, then balance it all with a soft, muted lip. 🍂

It may feel a little outside your comfort zone at first… but sometimes those are the looks that surprise you the most!

Would you wear this color combination? 💕

🍂 Fall Glam for the Mature Woman 🍂

This look is all about those beautiful fall shades — deeper browns, rich greens, and gorgeous champagne-colored shimmers that add the perfect touch of warmth and sparkle. 🤎💚✨

And of course, I finished the look with the L’Oréal Blur Filler Lip Liner in Tea Time — a beautiful, easy-to-wear shade that pulls everything together. 💄

Fall makeup is here, and I’m loving all the rich, warm colors! 🍁

Are you a fan of darker fall shades, or do you prefer a softer fall makeup look? 👇🏼

✨ Tips, tricks & products I HIGHLY encourage mature women to try! ✨

When it comes to mature skin, it’s all about working with your skin—not against it. From application techniques to the products that make a difference, these are some of my favorite things to incorporate into my makeup routine. 💕

A few little changes can make your makeup look smoother, fresher, and more radiant while still letting your natural beauty shine through. ✨

Save this for your next makeup day & let me know which tip you’re trying first! 💄

#LTKU #LTKgrwm #LTKOver40

Fall makeup, but make it plum, pink & purple! 🍂💜💗

I’m loving these deeper, romantic tones for fall—they add the prettiest pop of color while still feeling soft and wearable. ✨ I used the Morphe Mauve Mood Eyeshadow Palette to create this look, and these shades are SO perfect for the season!

Definitely giving fall glam with a little something extra! 🍇💄

Would you wear this color combo this fall?

#LTKgrwm #LTKBeauty #LTKOver40

Affordable makeup brands that I reach for over and over again! 💕✨

You don’t have to spend a fortune to find makeup that performs—and these are some of the affordable favorites that consistently make their way into my routine!

✨ Morphe — I used the Underslated Palette on my eyes and the Cloudlight Blush in Wisp on my cheeks. Such easy-to-use products that give the prettiest payoff!

✨ L’Oréal — always a winner! 🙌 I used the Cushion Foundation for my base and the Blur Filler Lip Liner to finish off the lips. Both are products I find myself reaching for again and again!

Affordable, reliable, and actually worth reaching for. 💄💕

🍂 Jumping back into the groove of things now that I’m back from Vegas! ✨

Keeping this fall makeup look simple, fresh, and effortless while adding a few of my current favorites! 🤎

💄 L’Oréal Blur Filler Lip Liner — Have you tried this product yet? If not, you should! It gives the lips such a pretty, defined look and has quickly become one of my favorites.

✨ Maxine’s Revenge French Face Concealer — I truly think this is one of the best concealers on the market for mature skin! It gives beautiful coverage while still keeping the skin looking natural and smooth.

Simple makeup, beautiful skin, and a little fall inspiration to get back into the swing of things! 🍁💄

Vegas hotel makeup 💄✨ Getting ready in the desert climate means my makeup routine has to focus on hydration, skin protection, and longevity!

💦 Stay hydrated! Between traveling, the dry Vegas air, and being out all day, I’m making sure I’m drinking plenty of water and giving my skin the hydration it needs.

☀️ Paula’s Choice Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluid SPF 50 — an important step before makeup to protect my skin from that strong Vegas sun while also giving my skin some hydration and a smooth base.

💋 KIKO Milano Unlimited Double Touch in 110 — the perfect long-lasting lip when I want my color to stay put through a full day of exploring, eating, and everything in between! I love that it gives me a beautiful pop of color without constantly having to touch up.

✨ When you’re doing your makeup in a hotel room, especially in a dry desert climate, it’s all about keeping the skin hydrated and choosing products that can keep up with you!

Vegas glam, hotel room edition 🎰💄✨

#LTKgrwm #LTKBeauty #LTKU

Vegas has a VERY different climate than Houston, so I had to make sure my makeup could handle the super dry desert air! 🌵✨

Even with mature skin, you can STILL use powder in a dry climate—you just have to be intentional with how and where you apply it. I focused on lightly setting the areas that needed it while keeping the rest of my skin hydrated and fresh. 🤍

The DIBS Beauty Duo Double-Ended Brush was perfect for this look! I love having two brushes in one, and it made applying and blending everything so easy without overloading my skin with product.

And my Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray was a MUST. It helped lock everything in while keeping my mature skin looking hydrated and preventing that overly dry, cakey look that can happen in the desert climate. ✨

Desert-proof makeup = hydrated skin + strategic powder + a good setting spray! 💄🏜️

#LTKgrwm #LTKNYFW #LTKOver40

Transitioning into fall makeup 🍂💄—because I’m not quite ready to let go of summer, but I’m definitely ready for those warmer, cozier fall tones!

For this look, I mixed some of my everyday favorites with a few fall staples:

✨ NARS Complete Concealer for that flawless base
✨ Kosas Air Brow for soft, natural-looking brows
✨ Milani Prep + Step Mist to prep and refresh the skin
✨ e.l.f. Liquid Velvet Eyeshadow for that gorgeous fall eye

Think glowy skin, warm tones, a little extra blush, and just enough fall vibes without going full pumpkin spice yet 😂🍁

This is your sign to start transitioning your makeup for fall! What’s the first fall makeup product you’re pulling back out? 🤎

#LTKgrwm #LTKOver40 #LTKU

Travel makeup has to work overtime! ✈️💄 I needed this look to last at least 12 hours while taking me from Houston humidity straight into the very dry Las Vegas climate—so I pulled out ALL the stops!

✨ Laura Mercier Caviar Shadow Sticks
✨ Charlotte Tilbury Setting Spray—not once, but 3 times throughout my application
✨ Tubing mascara
✨ Long-wearing blush and lip color from Make Up For Ever
✨ Kosas Cloud Set Powder in Candy

Then I locked everything down with the L’Oréal Infallible 3-Second Setting Spray—basically hairspray for your face! 😂

This makeup isn’t going anywhere! What’s the longest you’ve ever needed your makeup to last?

#LTKgrwm #LTKU #LTKOver40

Today I was in the mood for soft glam—nothing too heavy, just polished, glowy and beautiful on mature skin! ✨ I reached for some of my tried-and-true favorites: the Makeup by Mario Ethereal Eyes Palette, Dior Forever Skin Glow Foundation, Maxine’s Revenge French Face, BK Beauty Cream Blush, Persona Mascara and Danessa Myricks 4D Lip Plumping Gloss.
I love how this look turned out—it still feels like me, only a little more glamorous! Would you wear this soft-glam look? 🤎

#LTKselfcare #LTKgrwm #LTKOver40

Listen up, ladies! 📣 If Nikki La Rose says something works, you can bet I’m going to try it out for us mature gals!
I watched her full video on using ONE eyeshadow for hooded eyes and, of course, I had to see for myself. And guess what? It is STUNNING on mature eyes! ✨
I absolutely LOVE how my eyes turned out today—and the best part? If I weren’t filming, this eye look would literally take less than ONE MINUTE to create! 🙌
I used the Makeup by Mario Ethereal Eyes Palette along with Nikki La Rose’s brush collection from BK Beauty—because ladies, never underestimate the power of a GOOD beauty tool! The right brush can work absolute magic on our mature eyes and make blending SO much easier.
Simple, quick, flattering and proof that you do NOT need five different eyeshadows to create a beautiful eye look!
Mature eyes + one shadow + the right brush + less than a minute? YES, PLEASE! 💄✨
Would you try this technique? Let me know! 👇

#LTKgrwm #LTKOver40 #LTKselfcare

Everyone thinks I have BLUE eyes… but surprise — they’re actually GREEN! 💚
And when I really want that green to POP? I go straight for purples, lavenders and even pinks. 💜✨
Today I’m trying a new-to-me eyeshadow — Half Magic Eyeshadow Single in Pixie Problems — and OH MY GOODNESS. Don’t let all that shimmer scare you! The formula is absolutely stunning, and I had no fallout.
And yes, ladies… mature women CAN wear shimmer! 🙌🏻✨ Color, sparkle and shine do NOT have an age limit.
For my complexion, I’m using Maxine’s Revenge French Face for EVERYTHING — concealer, foundation AND bronzer. One formula, three different jobs. 👏🏻
Seriously… can your concealer do all that?! 😂
Would you wear this much shimmer? 💜✨

#LTKgrwm #LTKU #LTKOver40

Now that Labor Day is behind us and we’re officially in the “BER” months, it’s time to start warming up the makeup a bit! 🍂🤎
Today I pulled out a palette I haven’t used in a hot minute — the Master Mattes Palette by Makeup by Mario — and I had forgotten just how much I LOVE it! The shades are gorgeous, you get so many beautiful mattes to work with, and the formula is absolutely stellar…especially on mature eyes.
I’m also such a fan of the L’Oréal Infallible Cushion Foundation! Ladies, this one is SO affordable and absolutely beautiful on mature skin. My one complaint? I’m not a fan of the sponge applicator that comes with it. Skip the sponge, grab your favorite foundation brush and blend it in — the finish is gorgeous!
And can we talk about the Make Up For Ever Lip & Cheek?! If you haven’t tried it yet, you are seriously missing out! It’s long-wearing, beautiful on the skin, and I find myself reaching for it over and over again.
I’m definitely ready for those warmer, richer fall makeup tones. 🍁✨
Are you changing up your makeup for fall yet, or are you still hanging onto summer? 🤎

#LTKgrwm #LTKOver40 #LTKSeasonal

It’s Labor Day and I needed a FULL face of GLAM for an event…so I pulled out ALL the stops! ✨💄
I mixed some oldies-but-goodies with a few new products, and can we talk about this new cream + powder bronzer?! 😍 It is giving GORGEOUS on another level. WOW!
And of course, I reached for my @makeupforever lip products. I swear, I’ve probably worn them 75% of the summer—they’re just THAT good! 💋
I can’t believe we’re already saying goodbye to summer and heading into fall…although here in Texas, “fall” is more of a state of mind than an actual season. 😂🍂
I absolutely LOVE how this glam look came together!
Would you wear this much glam—or are you more of a soft-glam girl? 👇💕

#LTKgrwm #LTKOver40 #LTKBeauty

I’m never disappointed with an eyeshadow stick! 💙 They’re one of the fastest and easiest ways to do your eye makeup—so easy to blend, and they look fantastic on mature eyes.
And can we talk about this BLUE?! 💙 I’m loving this beautiful shade for late summer. Would you wear blue eyeshadow?
We are officially in the dog days of summer, so I needed makeup that was going to LAST. I reached for the Hung Vanngo Foundation paired with the BK Beauty Cream Blush, and let me tell you—the combination of these two on the skin is a match made in heaven! 🙌🏻
And of course, I grabbed a tubing mascara. It may not be waterproof, but it stays on my lashes ALL DAY without flaking, smudging or budging.
Easy eyes. Long-lasting skin. And a little pop of BLUE. 💙✨
Who says mature eyes can’t have fun with color?

#LTKgrwm #LTKOver40 #LTKU

Hear me out… do I think an $85 eyeshadow palette is worth the money? 👀
Well, when you consider that each shadow comes out to a little over $4 per pan, I think that speaks volumes. But it’s not just about the price—it’s about the quality inside those pans.
HOLY SMOKES. 🤯 The formula in the Hung Vanngo eyeshadow palette is INCREDIBLE.
The shadows almost feel like they were made for mature, crepey eyelids—beautifully pigmented, incredibly smooth, and SO blurring. They don’t emphasize texture; they just make the eyes look gorgeous.
And the colors?! STUNNING. 🤎✨
So…is an $85 palette worth it? This one gets a YES from me.
Would you spend $85 on an eyeshadow palette if the formula was this good?

#LTKgrwm #LTKBeauty #LTKOver40

When you need your makeup to SHOW UP & DELIVER! 💄🙌
Today’s GRWM is all about my HOLY GRAIL favorites — the products I reach for again and again because they NEVER let me down! From Hung Vanngo and BK Beauty to Kosas, Persona, Laura Mercier, Charlotte Tilbury & more. ✨
What’s ONE makeup product you absolutely cannot live without? 👇💋

#LTKselfcare #LTKOver40 #LTKgrwm

We all know BK Beauty makes some of the most amazing brushes, but did you know they now have a luxurious cream blush in their collection?! 💗
The formula is creamy, packed with skincare benefits, and looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL on mature skin. And you know I always say my cheeks eat blush…but NOT with this formula! 🙌🏼 The color stays put and gives my cheeks the prettiest, healthy-looking flush.
If you love what you’re seeing, I wouldn’t wait to get your hands on these! I have a feeling they’re going to SELL OUT FAST! 💨💗

🍂 Smokey Fall Eyes Are Back! 🤎
I dipped into the warm side of the Hung Vanngo palette today and these rich, sultry shades are giving me ALL the fall vibes! Warm browns, beautiful depth and just enough smoke to make the eyes pop. ✨
And yes, ladies — mature eyes can absolutely rock a smokey eye!
Are you ready for fall makeup? 🍁🤎

#LTKgrwm #LTKOver40 #LTKSeasonal

TIRED? Try this makeup! ✨💄
Some days we just need our makeup to do a little extra work for us! Today, my goal was simple: look brighter, fresher and more awake.
I focused first on my under eyes using an illuminating eye cream, followed by a peach-toned concealer to help counteract darkness, and finished with an under-eye brightening powder. What a difference!
Then I brought some LIFE back into my face with the new @bkbeauty Skin Perfecting Blush that will be released on 9/1/2026 to give my cheeks a bright pop of blush and I also used the new @DanessaMyricks Glasswork 4d Ultra Shine Lip Gloss to tie it altogether. 💕 Sometimes adding a little color is exactly what tired-looking skin needs!
Did I get 8 hours of sleep? Maybe not. 😂
Can my makeup make it LOOK like I did? Absolutely!
What’s your favorite makeup trick for looking more awake? 👇✨

#LTKgrwm #LTKselfcare #LTKOver40

CONFESSION TIME… 🙋‍♀️💄 I used to be a makeup snob.
Yep, I was THAT woman who said, “Drugstore makeup doesn’t work. It doesn’t last. It doesn’t look good on my skin.” 😳
But in my defense…that was 20–30 years ago, and affordable makeup has come a LONG way!
Today, I have so many affordable products that I absolutely LOVE and reach for all the time. Proof that great makeup doesn’t have to come with a luxury price tag! 🙌
A few favorites? The e.l.f. liquid eyeshadows are some of my absolute favorites, and Maybelline is seriously SHINING in this video — the Sky Tubes Tubing Mascara, Super Stay 30H Foundation and Cloudtopia Cheek & Lip Mousse are all fantastic. 💕
And just to be clear — this video is NOT sponsored. Maybelline just happened to show up and show OUT! 😂👏
So yes…I officially take back everything my former makeup-snob self said!
Now I want to know: What affordable makeup product is SO GOOD you would choose it over high-end? 👇

#LTKBeauty #LTKOver40 #LTKU

Pink + brown makeup with a little Dolly sparkle feels especially fitting. 💗✨
Pink and brown is one of those beautiful color combinations that I think gets overlooked—especially when it comes to makeup!
I often have trouble finding the perfect matte pink eyeshadow, so today I got a little creative. I reached for one of my favorite brands, Ciele Cosmetics, and used their gorgeous blush in Shy as my pink eyeshadow. Yes, ladies—a beautiful blush can absolutely do double duty! 💕
I wanted to keep the browns cool-toned, so I pulled out an oldie-but-goodie palette that never lets me down. Then I married my cheeks to my eyes with that same beautiful pink and finished everything with none other than Dolly Parton lipstick in Rosebud. 💄
Oh, how we will miss Dolly. Her sparkle, humor, authenticity and larger-than-life spirit were truly one of a kind. I’ll leave you with one of her quotes that has always made me smile—and somehow feels even more meaningful today:
“A rhinestone shines just as good as a diamond.” — Dolly Parton ✨
And didn’t she prove that to be true.
Rest in eternal peace, Dolly. Your sparkle will never fade. 💎🦋✨

$\ 🎃 Pumpkin Spice Look #2 🍂✨ If fall had a makeup look, THIS would be it! 🤎 For today’s Pumpkin Spice Glam, I pulled out the beautiful Anastasia Beverly Hills Spice Palette and paired it with rich, warm hues of fall on the cheeks and the prettiest autumn-inspired lip. 🍁 There’s just something about those warm browns, bronzes, terracottas and spicy tones that screams HELLO FALL! And yes, ladies—mature women can absolutely embrace a little warmth, color and glam! ✨ I think Pumpkin Spice Look #2 might be even better than #1! 🎃🤎 What do you think? #PumpkinSpiceMakeup #FallMakeup #MatureMakeup #MakeupForMatureWomen #FallGlam #Over50Beauty #Over60Beauty #AnastasiaBeverlyHills #LTKOver40 #LTKgrwm #LTKBeauty$

Ladies, can you believe it’s almost September? 🍂🤎 Before we know it, the leaves will start changing and all those beautiful, warm hues of fall will be upon us!
And you know what that means… PUMPKIN SPICE MAKEUP! 🎃✨
This look did NOT disappoint! From the gorgeous Embers eyeshadow palette, to the pumpkin spice-inspired blushes, and that pretty warm lippy…everything came together beautifully.
I think this may be the perfect makeup look to take us right into fall! 🍁🤎 And remember, ladies—makeup is supposed to be FUN, no matter our age!
Are you ready for pumpkin spice season, or are you still holding onto summer? 🎃☀️

#LTKOver40 #LTKgrwm #LTKselfcare

Some days we wake up and need to look put together in a HURRY…and today was definitely one of those days! 💄✨
When time is short, I always reach for cream and liquid products. They make application smooth, quick and effortless—and still give us that beautiful, polished finish we want!
Today, My French Face was the ultimate multitasker! I used it as my concealer, foundation AND bronzer. One product doing triple duty? YES PLEASE! 🙌🏻
And with this HOT summer weather, don’t let the heat ruin your beautiful makeup! ☀️🔥 I always finish with a setting spray and a lightweight setting powder to help everything stay in place without looking heavy or cakey.
Fast, easy AND fabulous…such a WIN-WIN! 💋✨
Because looking put together doesn’t have to take all morning! 😉

#LTKOver40 #LTKselfcare #LTKgrwm

If there’s one thing I’ve learned about makeup on mature skin, it’s that under-eye prep matters! 👀✨
Catrice just launched their NEW Under Eye Primer Stick and I’ve been pairing it with their iconic Under Eye Brightener—and WOW. The combination helps create a smoother, brighter-looking under-eye - a wonderful power duo!
And you know I’m always looking for products that work with my mature skin, not against it. ❤️
If dark circles, dullness, or texture are your under-eye concerns, this duo is definitely worth a look!

💙 MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY — Makeup for Mature Women! 💙
Today I pulled out a GORGEOUS palette that I haven’t used in forever…and YES, ladies — mature women CAN wear blue eyeshadow! 🙌💙✨
One of my personal makeup rules:
Bold eye + bold cheek = nude lip. 💄
And another rule? DON’T BE AFRAID OF COLOR! 🎨
Getting older doesn’t mean our makeup has to become boring, beige or predictable. Wear the blue. Add the shimmer. Try something you haven’t worn in years. Makeup is supposed to be FUN — at every age! 💙
So for this Motivational Monday, I want to know…
✨ What are YOU doing today to stay motivated?

#LTKgrwm #LTKOver40 #LTKBeauty

✨ FRIDAY GLAM — MATURE EDITION! ✨

Mixing some NEW affordable makeup finds with a few of my high-end favorites for today’s glam! 💄✨ Because gorgeous makeup doesn’t have to come with a luxury price tag!

And YES…mature women can still rock the shimmer, color & GLAM! 💃🏼✨

Would you wear this look? 💗

#LTKgrwm #LTKOver40 #LTKBeauty

I’m stepping a little outside my usual wheelhouse with this one… 🍅✨
I absolutely LOVE the smell of tomato vines, and these products do not disappoint! From the moment I lit the candle, my room smelled incredible—and adding the diffuser was the cherry on top. 🍃
I’ll definitely be using the room spray all summer and right into fall! If you love a fresh, clean scent that makes your home smell amazing, these are definitely worth checking out. 🤍

#LTKSeasonal #LTKOver40 #LTKHome

Vulnerable post… ❤️

Would I have ever posted a picture of myself in a bathing suit before my weight-loss journey? Absolutely not.

Am I still nervous about doing it today? A resounding YES! 😳

So why am I sharing it?

Because at almost 66 years old, I’m finally at a place where I feel confident in my own skin. I genuinely love and appreciate the woman I am today — gray hair, wrinkles, crinkles, saggy skin and all! ❤️

And you know what? This bathing suit makes me feel SEXY and CONFIDENT — and hubby loves it too! 😉🔥

It covers all my bits & pieces exactly where I want coverage, it’s incredibly comfortable, flattering AND very affordable. Honestly, I’m thinking about grabbing another color and saving it for next year!

Ladies, confidence doesn’t have an expiration date. We don’t have to have the “perfect” body to wear the bathing suit, take the picture or feel beautiful. Wear the suit. Enjoy the moment. LOVE the woman you are today. ❤️

And if you love this suit as much as I do… it’s on MAJOR SALE right now! 🙌

Almost 66. Gray hair. Wrinkles. Crinkles. And feeling pretty darn fabulous. 💃🏼❤️
