This weekend my mom and I stopped by the Broadmoor for lunch to celebrate my birthday and it was finally warm enough for me to wear my Original Jacks! No shade to anyone chasing quota bags - but for me, they’re just not the vibe. There are so many beautiful bags out there you can simply walk in and buy with your cash money (and so many that feel more interesting). And you know that your girl loves an interesting bag. To each their own!

That said, I’m not anti-Hermès- case in point, these boots. I found them secondhand and they are phenomenal. The craftsmanship, the timeless design, the way they’ve held up - 100% would recommend. Hermès footwear is one of those categories that really can be worth the search for pre-loved; you get enduring quality and a true investment piece without the games.

I’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to break out these socks, and this outfit seemed like just the occasion. 🧦 I love the pop of pattern and how they add something unexpected to the look I’ve always been a big sock person, and while I love a classic ankle sock (classic millennial amiright?) I’m so excited to see more playful options making a comeback. Styling socks with loafers has me thinking back to my 12-year-old self… turns out she really knew what she was doing. 😄

For this outfit, the jeans were super comfy, but next time I’d love to try it with a more classic trouser - same shape, just a slightly elevated material. Either way, the look is comfy, fun, and perfect for fall.

We had the most fun taking Little One to his very first pumpkin patch. It was hosted at a living history site so there were cool demonstrations and activities as well. We ended up with 2 excellent pumpkins and left just before the rain started to fall. Little One saw chickens for the first time and also loved the changing/falling leaves. He DID NOT like the donkey, though. He took one look at that weirdo and started screaming in abject terror.

Excuse me, how cute are these?!?! These for me are like an instant add to cart. I love this style of loafer with the tassel and the fact that these are Hering grown tweed makes them the ultimate shoe in my opinion. The perfect set for Thanksgiving! The sweater fit true to size and has shoulder pads, but they’re very flattering so while those aren’t a favorite of mine, I think they totally work in this piece. The skirt ran a bit small for me so I sized up by one. Fabrications are really, really nice.
