Kids' rooms are one of my favorite spaces to design because they can be playful without feeling overly themed. For this room, I started with timeless pieces that will still work as he gets older—a classic black wood spindle bed, rich green wainscoting, plaid wallpaper, vintage-inspired artwork, and warm wood tones that all feel collected over time. The goal was to create a bedroom that feels cozy, lived in, and full of personality while still being practical enough to grow with him. If you're decorating a child's room and want it to feel classic instead of trendy, starting with timeless furniture and layering in meaningful accessories is always a good place to begin. I've linked the exact or closest pieces below if you'd like to recreate this look in your own home. Save this design for later and tap below to shop the room. LTKHome LTKKids
