If you want to actually experience the magic of Yosemite, here’s what you need to know: 📍Tunnel View – That iconic first look into Yosemite Valley with El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall, and Half Dome. Best at sunrise or golden hour when the lighting hits just right. Pull off Highway 41 before the Wawona Tunnel to find the viewpoint or hike the trail up behind the parking lot for epic views. 📍Valley View – A totally underrated (and way less crowded!) view of El Capitan and Cathedral Rocks reflected in the Merced River. Just past Bridalveil on the one-way loop—perfect for sunset or a peaceful morning stop. 📍Taft Point – One of the most jaw-dropping sunset spots in the whole park. It’s a 2.2 mile round-trip hike, and you’ll get dramatic cliff-edge views with no railings and that “floating above the valley” feeling. Not for the faint of heart—wear proper shoes! 📍The Sequoias – Yes, Yosemite has giant trees too! The Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias is at the park's south entrance.
