Sutton, our little bug, is officially closer to 1 than she is to the day she was born! 🥺 She is growing up so fast and learning new things every day! She is so smiley and happy and just loves being around family. 🥹 She is getting so silly and loves to play with toys and be carried around to learn about the world around her! We are loving this stage so much, and are so excited for these next few months as she learns more! 🥹❤️

Ellie has never used a pillow for over 2 years! 😳😂 backstory ::: We are getting ready to transition Ellie from a crib to a toddler bed, but we have a few more things to get worked out. One of them is the fact that Ellie has never used a pillow and blanket before. So we decided that it was finally time to get her one. I found a tiny little toddler pillow and we got a blanket from Sutton’s room, and surprised Ellie! Ellie immediately knew that it was for sleeping with and she showed us in her excitement! She got the zoomies after her surprise, and ran around the room. 😂 After, Tay brushed her teeth and put her into bed, and later checked the camera to see if she was figuring it out, and she was using the pillow and blanket like she’s supposed to! 🥹 She’s such a big girl now, and she’s one step closer to a toddler bed!

It was almost her bedtime too! 😳😅 backstory ::: We went to LA on a 1 day work trip and were headed home, but in order to have a peaceful flight, we needed to keep Sutton up until we boarded so she would sleep the whole flight. So we tried to hold her and walk around, but my arms started getting tired, and Tay was pushing all of the suitcases, so we had to move her to the stroller. We walked to a coffee place that I like and that ended up being a really long journey that took us on buses and up and down elevators. Finally we got the coffee and made it all the way back just in time to board and we looked down at Sutton… 😅

backstory ::: I had the opportunity to speak on a Lupus Awareness panel with @lupusorg and I was really nervous because I’ve never spoken to a crowd before. It’s funny because I speak to millions of people each day, but never face to face. Tay thought it might help me to practice, so I practiced walking out and speaking. I was having a hard time figuring out how to walk and talk… which is a rough start, but we have to start somewhere! 😂 I tried a bunch of different ways and it was really funny. Overall, I’m so proud of the presentation I gave that day and having the courage to speak about my Lupus. 🥹💜

In love with all of these dresses 🤩 backstory ::: We got word one day before our trip that we were invited to the ACM Awards which are on May 17th at 7pm CT, so I have to find a dress ASAP! I did a little fashion show and showed Tay some dresses! I think they're all great, so it will be a tough choice! I can’t wait to walk the red carpet and watch the award show! 🤩 If you have a favorite, please let me know! 😅 because we aren’t sure which.

🥹💜🦋 backstory ::: I was invited to speak about my Lupus journey at a Lupus Foundation conference and I was so excited for the opportunity. I struggled for 6 years with a mystery illness and finally figured out that it was Lupus last year. Now I'm trying to do what I can to help others who are going through the same thing. I was very nervous to speak because I am scared of public speaking, but I knew it was important, and so I pushed through my anxiety. I touched on my pregnancy and postpartum journeys with lupus so that I could give other women hope that may be scared that they can’t have children with lupus. 🥹💜

Sutton’s laugh at the end was so cute! 🥹 backstory ::: Sutton turned 7 months on the 7th so it’s her golden birthday (before her birthday 😂)! We always take pictures right when she turns a month older so we can see how much she has grown, so I got the camera and put her in a cute basket. 🧺 Sutton seemed to be so happy to be 7 months, and was just laughing and giggling the whole time. I felt bad even though she seemed happy. You can tell how bad I was feeling by the rash on my cheeks that I get when the disease gets worse! I’m just glad that the excitement of Sutton being a month older helped me to get through the aches! 🥹💜

When Ellie started putting makeup ALL OVER her face! 😅🙈 backstory ::: Kay had a work trip to LA for a podcast, and just got back. When we got home Ellie was already asleep, so the next morning I got Ellie up and when Kay came down after getting ready, I captured them seeing each other again! 💜 Ellie was so happy to see Kay and even said that she missed her! 🥹 Ellie immediately wanted to show Kay that she got a package because lately her favorite thing to do with Kay is open up our PR packages! 😂 So She guided Kay to it to see what was inside. It was some bathing suits and some “momma makeup” and Ellie really wanted to wear some. She put it on her face and it was so cute! Ellie was so excited to be wearing some momma makeup and being with Kay again! 🥹

Inspired by my OG Gigi Necklace, which represents the rainbow after the storm, this new piece is so personal to me. Living with an autoimmune condition means some days take more energy than others, and I wanted this necklace to be a reminder to keep going, even when it feels hard.
The pastel rainbow represents hope and brighter days ahead, but also the different autoimmune conditions that many suffer with, with the purple in the center also honoring the autoimmune community as a whole. The diamond adds a little spark of strength, energy, and light, reminding you to stay present, keep pushing, and trust that there is always beauty after the storm.

🫘Bean Necklace🫛
This necklace was inspired by my original Bean Necklace, which has always represented your “favorite human bean”. I love that when the bean is turned sideways, it becomes a heart. To me, it is such a sweet reminder that when you are with your favorite person, your heart just feels full.

Sutton is sitting SO GOOD! 🤯🥹 backstory ::: We stopped in LA for the night to do a podcast (@thesqueeze) with @taylautner and decided to stay at a nice hotel! Kay text Tay(not me 😂) for some hotel recommendations and she recommended this one! We checked in and it was so nice in the lobby, so kay got really excited to see the room! She kept saying how the hallways looked like the hallways on the Titanic! 😂 We walked to the room and went inside! It was so nice and kay loved walking around and looking at everything! We don’t get to stay at nice places like this often, so kay always gets so excited. We took Sutton out and let her look at the room also, she sat on the bed and was balancing so well! 🤯 Then we decided to go on a little walk, so kay out sutton in a carrier and we went to look around the hotel! 💜

I can’t tell which was the funniest! 😂 backstory ::: We were watching Ellie open a toy the other day and Sutton started laughing so much at the paper ripping. So I thought it would be fun to see which papers are the more funny! So I went around the house and found different types of paper and took them to Kay. We started ripping and I was surprised by the results! 😂😅

Ellie saying “oh my goodness” was so precious! 😂🥹 backstory ::: Kay came rushing in with a new thing for Sutton! It was a seat for her to sit in and play with different toys! Ellie had the same one and we used it for a long time whenever we were both getting ready in the morning. Kay decided to get another for Sutton so that she could start to use it as she learns how to sit up! I got it built and we put Sutton into it. She was so interested in all of the little gadgets, especially the ones that made noises! 😂 I am sure this will get a lot of use over the next year or so. Hopefully Sutton likes it as much as Ellie liked hers! 💜

Why did it sound like she was casting a spell at the end! 😂🪄 backstory ::: Sutton has been finding her voice, and has found an interesting new way of talking. 😂 She is really into growling right now and it has become her primary way of babbling! 😂 She gets so into it and will make the loudest growls! 👹 Sometimes it sounds like she’s speaking words as she plays with the growls. Ellie always gets excited whenever Sutton is growling for some reason! 😅😂 this is the cutest thing, and it’s so fun to watch her growl at her toys while she’s playing! ❤️

The glasses at the end! 🥹😎 backstory ::: We have been trying to get Ellie to potty train for a while, but she didn’t have any interest in going. We would sit and sit on the toilet and she’d never go, only to go minutes later in her diaper. We tried many techniques and were having small victories, but when we switched to this method it worked almost instantly. We have 3 methods we use, we have a potty timer, and we go try every time the potty timer goes off. When we sit down, Ellie gets a potty snack and book if she wants, and if she goes she gets a sticker on the chart! She really liked the stickers. But the biggest thing was the Ellie Ellie song. Which is just us chanting “Ellie.. Ellie.. Ellie” over and over! 😂 She loves this and will ask to go to the potty just so she can run back and get the chant 😂 Sine then, she hasn’t had any accidents, and is always eager to go to the potty! 🥹 She’s getting so big! ❤️
