Day 2 of my 6-week road to my first 5K. 🏃🏻♀️ I spent all day looking forward to getting off work and going for my run. I came home, had a snack, drank my pre-workout, changed into my running clothes, and headed outside… …just to be greeted by pouring rain. For a second, I thought, “I’ll just do it tomorrow.” But that’s exactly how I’ve abandoned goals in the past. So instead of skipping the workout, I swapped tomorrow’s lower-body workout with today’s run and kept my commitment to myself. I’m realizing that discipline isn’t about following the plan perfectly.
