I’m backkk! I spent the last week in Italy hosting my first ever women’s retreat and boy we had a time!

One of the highlights of Ley’s La Dolce Vita Style Escape was an unforgettable private experience at @prada in Torino.

We had the entire boutique to ourselves, where we were welcomed with champagne, delicious bites, and exceptional hospitality.

Then the team asked each of us to choose one item—any item—that spoke to us.

What we didn’t know was that they were secretly curating complete outfits around our selections.

As a personal stylist, I loved being on the other side of the styling experience. I found myself trying on combinations I never would have chosen on my own, while also learning about Prada’s rich history and craftsmanship.

It was thoughtful, luxurious, educational, and an experience I’ll never forget.

Just a reminder that basics don’t have to be boring. I had an event earlier this week that was “dressed down”. For me, that was jeans and a buttons, a purse, and chunky loafers.

I got a tonn of compliments on the @anntaylor top and it was because while it was a fairly basic item, it had details of a lace collar and flowy big sleeves. Very little effort on my part, but big impact.

Spring is officially here and with it comes more easy outfit inspiration! 🌷

Here’s a slightly elevated look to the outfit I showed you last week. The same base pieces but instead of full length trench I went with a cropped trench, instead of a t-shirt I went with a blouse, slacks instead of jeans, and chunky loafers instead of sneakers. Simple tweaks can completely change an outfit.

Merry Christmas to you and yours! 🎄🎁✨ We’ve reached the finale of our 12 day countdown and we are ending with jacquard. What makes jacquard so special? It’s all in the craftsmanship. The intricate, raised patterns are created by weaving different threads together, giving the outfit a structured, high-end feel and a subtle shimmer that catches the light from every angle.

There’s something so classic about a jacquard skirt (yes, it has pockets) for Christmas—it’s sophisticated but comfortable enough for all the holiday feasting. The skirt has a matching top, but I decided to break the set up and pair it with a one shoulder velvet top instead.

The start of another week means another wardrobe staple!

If I had to pick one piece of clothing that people (most of my clients included) absolutely hate shopping for it is hands down jeans. Full transparency, this was also me a few years ago. But I’ve now found brands with jeans that fit my body type AND are comfortable and all is right with the world. It may take some trial and error and a lot of trying on, but I promise you once you do find the right pair and hopefully more than just one pair, you will be thrilled! Jeans are really a staple piece in every wardrobe because of their versatility so you really do want to have a good fitting pair in your closet.

And don’t be afraid to experiment! The ones I’m wearing here are barrel jeans, which I’ve never tried before, but reading the reviews online helped me find a pair that fit fantastic (only a little hemming was required because I’m super short). 👌🏾
