Merry Christmas to you and yours! 🎄🎁✨ We’ve reached the finale of our 12 day countdown and we are ending with jacquard. What makes jacquard so special? It’s all in the craftsmanship. The intricate, raised patterns are created by weaving different threads together, giving the outfit a structured, high-end feel and a subtle shimmer that catches the light from every angle.

There’s something so classic about a jacquard skirt (yes, it has pockets) for Christmas—it’s sophisticated but comfortable enough for all the holiday feasting. The skirt has a matching top, but I decided to break the set up and pair it with a one shoulder velvet top instead.

The start of another week means another wardrobe staple!

If I had to pick one piece of clothing that people (most of my clients included) absolutely hate shopping for it is hands down jeans. Full transparency, this was also me a few years ago. But I’ve now found brands with jeans that fit my body type AND are comfortable and all is right with the world. It may take some trial and error and a lot of trying on, but I promise you once you do find the right pair and hopefully more than just one pair, you will be thrilled! Jeans are really a staple piece in every wardrobe because of their versatility so you really do want to have a good fitting pair in your closet.

And don’t be afraid to experiment! The ones I’m wearing here are barrel jeans, which I’ve never tried before, but reading the reviews online helped me find a pair that fit fantastic (only a little hemming was required because I’m super short). 👌🏾
