This is not a workout 🏋️ video. I am not nearly decently good at pilates, but I wanted to show you that is possible to get home, put your kids to sleep and have a moment of self-love.

I took clases to learn half decent routines and also watch lots of videos online. I turn on my TV and spend about an hour on the exercises I remember. My technique is awful but it does get the work done. I get sore in the right places and tired enough to fall sleep quickly 😅🤣.

Primero que me pongo este vestido más veces de lo que admitiría 😅

1. Estudié Telecomunicaciones en Cuba aunque soñaba con ser Veterinaria, dejé la carrera en 5to año.
2. Llegué a USA, obtuve mi licencia de Real Estate y trabajé un tiempo como Realtor.
3. Me gradué de Computer Engineering mientras abría mi primer salón de belleza (nunca ejercí en software).
4. Abrí un salón que sobrevivió al COVID gracias a mi equipo, pero cerró por problemas de permisos.
5. Creí poder “sanar” a mi ex narcisista y terminé siendo víctima de abuso psicológico, financiero y doméstico. Aun así, le debo a esa etapa lo más valioso: mis dos hijos. ❤️
6. Me endeudé abriendo una nueva locación con permisos especiales y gastos inesperados.
7. Después de luchar por empleados y estabilidad, traspasé el negocio para recuperar pérdidas.
8. Renté una suite y sigue atendiendo an mis clientas de pestañas y cejas, con más tiempo para mis hijos.
9. Me mudé de ciudad y a veces pienso que no estaba preparada.
10. Hay días en los que siento que quiero hacer algo diferente, pero sigo adelante. 💪

He cometido errores, pero también he ganado experiencia y resiliencia. La vergüenza enseña, y lo importante es seguir intentando hasta encontrar el camino 🥰

🔨 Cuando estrenar casa suena a emoción… pero la verdad es que he trabajado más que si fuera un flip 😂. Entre armar muebles, pintar y darle mi toque a cada rincón, siento que vivo en un episodio de “DIY non-stop”.
