📌 I’m pinning and saving Autumn appropriate inspo on Pinterest so that I don’t have to overthink my outfits.

I am relying on basics to create outfits I love. Jeans, windbreaker jackets, trench coats, leather, trousers & pencil skirts are all at the front of my wardrobe. I have finally decided to pack away my thong sandals, so I am swapping these out for trainers, loafers & ballet flats. Knitwear and long sleeve tops are my top options.

Literally swapping black jeans out got chocolate brown jeans for a softer tone. I plan on doing the same with navy blue. This is the third colourway I am buying these jeans in. The jeans are great, the colour is even better.

📌 I have been actively searching for trousers looks on my Pinterest & pinning my favourite looks.

I love wearing jeans but it’s a long Autumn / Winter and I find myself looking for alternatives to mix up my outfits. I find trousers more comfortable for working from home and like to mix trousers with thong sandals, boots or a trainer ( to dress down a look)

The right cut and fit can be hard to find, I have included some great styles within this edit, a mix of high street and higher end. My fav way to wear is with knitwear, leather and a trench coat.

📌 My Pinterest board is a mix of high Summer and Autumn inspo, I am floating somewhere in between.

Autumn will come sooner than we think and I like to be prepared! But for now I am mixing my Summer and Autumn wardrobe and loving it. I am slowly re introducing light knitwear, jackets, denim, loafers and trainers.

Shorts, silk and lace, skirts and dresses are still at the front of my wardrobe but I am teaming these with jackets, long sleeved tees & denim jackets. I am still keen on having toes out and open toe shoes with bare legs to balance out the looks and be more weather appropriate.

What a Summer it’s been so far! When it gets to this time of year, I want to get the wear out of my Summer pieces and only add new classic or investment pieces.

It definitely feels like this year I have well and truly exhausted my Summer wardrobe, so I am looking for new outfit combos within my existing wardrobe.

📌 Anyone else been back in jeans? Or toying with the idea? Denim is a running theme on my Pinterest board and Jeans are a fail safe, look really cool, effortless and so easy to style.

You can’t get any more classic than a pair of good denim jeans. I wear jeans all year around & really crave wearing them when it’s super hot, so usually opt for my light wash, super loose fitting denim.

A good pair of jeans can be hard to find, but when you find a good pair hang on to them no matter what! And maybe buy a few other colourways.

I wear size 38 in the shirt & size 36 in the shorts. The style comes up oversized so I would suggest sizing down.

The goal is to chuck the look on, keep cool and still look effortlessly chic.

I wear true to size in the top & sizes up 1 size in the shorts for extra room, but I would say that they are true to size
