8 outfits for the heatwave ☀️ 8 inspo & shoppable edits to save for the up coming weeks, your Summer holiday or when you need some outfit inspo during the hot weather. 📌 A lot of my heat wave pins are doubling up as Summer holiday inspiration & that’s all my Pinterest board consists of right now. I’m wearing the same outfits & outfit combos on repeat, I’m reaching for loose layers & breathable fabrics. Shorts, Broderie anglaise, coords, loose trousers & dresses are right at the front of my wardrobe. A time to have a play around with colour, I personally prefer to stick to bold colours rather than prints, instead I mix up my fabrics. 100% cotton, 100% silk & linen are my ‘go to’ . My hottest accessories right now are a portable fan, sun hat, flip flops of thong sandals and a raffia bag. I’m avoiding denim, shoes that don’t have an open toe, knitwear & anything fitted.

📌 Summer holiday, heatwave & Euro Summer outfit inspo is dominating my Pinterest board at the moment.

Loose layers, breathable fabrics and whether you prefer to wear less or more practical, I hope that you find some useful looks.

When it’s really hot there are days I still need to get dressed & when this is the case I am wearing linen, 100% cotton, white, black or neutral colours. Flip flops, thong sandals or minimal footwear.

I’m sure most of us can agree that no jeans are allowed when it’s this hot. A maxi dress can be a great option if you’re not a fan of shorts or a mini, I’m keeping my arms bare and my hottest accessory is a hand held fan & sun screen + My favourite activity is hiding from the direct sun ☀️

Cobalt blue is the colour of the season & is becoming a constant within my outfits, teamed with black, for a stark contrast + lace and leather, which carry me through all seasons.

Outfit repeating is the coolest thing you can wear right now! Find the outfit formulas that work for you then repeat. Same applies to how I am weaving my fav colour combos into my wardrobe. If I’m going bold with a Colbalt blue, I’m keeping the rest of my outfit simple, probably all black or white, or I’m leaning heavily on a pop of colour through a bag, sandal, accessory or even something as stable as my nail colour.

I was missing some travel sets, and so I pulled the trigger on all 3 of these. perfect sizes for holiday and general travel

📌Simple outfits aren’t boring, if anything I think they look more considered and put together. I am sharing some of my Pinterest pins that inspire me daily.

Simple outfits include clean cut pieces & silhouette, outfits that are worn on repeat, minimal jewellery, interesting and well made footwear & bags, wearable styles, effortless hair and paying attention to fabrics rather than relying on loud clothing and layering.

📌 Easy and effortless is how June outfits feel. I am forever looking to Pinterest to inspire my Summer looks.

In June, I want to wear loose fitting clothing, it doesn’t have to be oversized, but definitely nothing figure hugging. I want to wear linen, 100% cotton, silk and monochrome + pops of colour. Raffia and canvas Summer bags ( with the exception of black leather bags) is what I am adding to my outfits.

I live in the UK & that means that June is not always super sunny & warm, so I have long sleeve tops, shirts, sweatshirts & linen blend knit tops on hand to accessorise with, incase I need to wear them.

With the occasional light wash denim jean, I am wearing floaty dresses, shorts, skirts and light weight coords.

Warm weather outfits consists of fuss free outfits, creativity with accessories & rewearing outfits. I love wearing black this time of year & monochrome, I mainly add colour through accessories, there is room for other colours but there is something about an all black look that makes me feel really put together.

Accessories are the focus , whether it’s tying a shirt around your waist, wearing a baseball cap or a wide brim hat or bringing out our Summer statement basket or canvas bags. I tend to ditch most jewellery and pay attention to clean neck lines, movement in fabrics and within the cut of my clothes.

Dresses, cotton cropped trousers, shorts & skirts are at the front of my wardrobe, even when the weather dips, try pairing these with a lighter knit or shirt.

My fav way to wear a silk lace slip dress. With black + leather thong sandals & bag 🖤

📌 As you can imagine my Pinterest board is full of shorts inspo. I wear shots so much this time of year it is my ‘go to’ I prefer them to dresses, skirts & trousers.

There are a range of different shots options I would recommend, I personally like to wear a mix of styles, depending on the occasion & the look which I’m trying to achieve, but the option is always comfortable.

Warmer weather fabrics like silk, 100% cotton & 100% linen is what I prefer. As always, my looks are all pretty simple, but effective. My everyday shorts choice is a sporty or sweat short & I tend to wear linen, silk and Bermuda shorts when I am going out and about. I play around with my fav colours to wear this season, teamed with oversized tees, leather & occasionally a light sweat top or knit. I wear with flip flops, mainly, a mesh shoe or trainers.

📌 Summer weather feels like it is in full swing and the last thing I want to do is spend time planning outfits. My Pinterest board is my go to right now.

For warmer weather It’s all about wearing breathable fabrics, no make up days, floaty dresses & shorts. I love wearing 100% linen, 100% cotton, sheer fabrics, wide brim hats, head scarves which are accompanied by my canvas, basket or woven bags + flip flops only.

Very simple outfits are the main character this season. It can very easily feel like I am wearing the same outfits on repeat, which I don’t mind, but to switch things up I add colour (butter yellow & red are great additions) and change up my accessories regularly.

My fav thing to wear at the moment are silk lace shorts, 100% linen, basic tees, broderie dresses & coords.

📌 A lot of my Pinterest pins consist of effortless outfits, not only am I drawn to them, I rely on them.

My outfits usually start with a simple & easy base, clean cut tee, simple dress,a block colour, denim, leather, great quality shirt. Then I add my accessories, this is what till I tend to play around with, whether it’s tying a shirt around my waist, adding a hat or statement sunglasses. I love a simple flip
flip Flip for Spring / Summer & a leather, basket or canvas bag. Also loving a pop of colour, I am very unto red and colbalt blue at the moment.

Some simple but elevated combos I recommend are, white tee with blue jeans / shorts, White linen coord + a blazer, maxi skirt & simple tee, slip dress & flip flops, cargo trousers & a clean cut tee and a linen shirt with linen trousers.

📌 An accurate representation of what my Pinterest board looks like at the moment. I am looking forward to those low effort, ‘chuck something on and go’ Sumner days. Summer will come around sooner than we think!

Floaty Summer dresses, linen, shorts and summer skirts, silk sets, and sheer fabrics is what I’m wearing this Summer. I like to build my wardrobe with versatile pieces that work on holiday and also for everyday.

I love to create a ‘Summer in the city’ vibe to my looks, a little tailored linen, my Toteme silk sets, basket and canvas bags, silk and lace shorts, wide brim raffia hats, head scarves and sandals only. Tops are usually super basic a clean white tee, long sleeve silk or an 100% linen piece.

I love wearing Toteme & Posse in Summer & mixing and matching my investment wardrobe with highstreet pieces that are 100% linen or cotton.

This Hailey Bieber relaxed look has been a firm staple on my Pinterest board. I love how easy this look is to wear and recreate, very effortless chic. Another look that we can all wear! 🤍

The aim was to find the perfect oversized white & pair it with bits I already own.

I can confirm the Victoria Beckham x Gap denim jacket is very good ❤️ 90’s inspired cut and wash ( I sized up for a more ‘me’ oversized look. Investing in denim is always a good idea. This style in particular is timeless.

📌 I’ve been pinning Summer looks for months, these looks have come from my personal Pinterest board, which I will be filtering into my Spring wardrobe & mixing and matching with pieces I’m wearing right now.

There is a lot of white, cream & ecru. When I think of warmer weather style, I think of my fav fabrics paired with these. Linen, cotton & silk gradually move to the front of my wardrobe, I live in dresses, shorts, skirts and loose fitting trousers. Adding pops of colour is intentional and I’ll be using my canvas and basket bags more but not leaving my leather bags behind.

The key to dressing for the new season is trusting your wardrobe and leaning on pieces we rotate every Summer, not over complicating the look ( if the look feels boring change up the shoe, bag or sunglasses) don’t over think it.
