Lately I’ve been so inspired by the homes I see from other content creators… and if I’m being honest, sometimes it made creating a beautiful home of my own feel completely unattainable.

I realized I had slipped into a scarcity mindset—telling myself I’d make our home cozy someday, when we had the bigger house, the better furniture, the perfect space.

But this is the home we have right now. And I don’t want to keep waiting to enjoy it.

So I took myself shopping and picked up a few small, beautiful touches that make our everyday spaces feel more cozy, intentional, and us. 🤎

I regularly have the opportunity but commonly forget, to take a red light therapy, shower, which is me simply aiming my panel to the glass door while it’s outside of the shower.

Date night fit-storytime!

We had approximately five hours to fit in a fun date night to celebrate being debt-free from our miracle baby’s medical
bills, and a small loan we took out to finish our Homestead many years ago!

We popped some tags at @dillards because Mama literally needs some new clothes. I mean I have got five shirts, no jeans and a handful dresses in my closet- that’s it!

Fast-forward to doing some speed shopping, but actually finding cute new pieces to add to my wardrobe and new body, and me getting dressed in the front seat of the minivan, trying to keep my body under the window so I’m not flashing everybody at the stoplight!

I wouldn’t have pair these shoes with this outfit, but it was all I had so I made them work!

It was really fun going out for dinner and for once, feeling like I fit the part of a hot mama out on town!

Mom‘s night out but make it productive!

Would you believe me if I said I came straight from the gym to my solo dinner last week?

It was the grown-up moment I never knew I needed!

Pushing around lots of iron followed up with a protein alongside a shot or two of tequila 😉

And *that’s* on castor oil!

I got my tri- yearly silk press at the salon yesterday to get a trim and enjoy a style switch-up.

I’ve been trying to grow my hair out super long for years and whether because of illness or pregnancy, I’ve had to start over.

Yesterday’s salon appointment gave me renewed hope for my hair goals!

Someday, my length will come!

I’m not big on perfume at all. Yet, I really appreciate smelling wonderful!

I started wearing an amber roll-on perfume oil in 2019, my midwife wore it and the smell enamored me! I ended up using a different roll-on perfume of the same amber scent.

I have now just added a layer of patchouli to my line-up for the perfect, earthy, bright, feminine scent!

Ok—I was sleeping on HOKAS! They are so comfortable, how?!?

Now I had to search far and wide for these guys, they were a limited edition collab with Free People that released in 2023.

I ended up finding them on EBay for $94!!!

I wore them for my bodybuilding competition and I’m so thankful I did because now I can wear them for fun!

Ok, so, how I thrift is I skim through the items I *need* to find patterns or colors that stick out immediately.

I have been swapping my clothes for natural fibers over the past years, and besides most workout clothes, I keep to that rule 99%% of the time!!

I try to wear outfits that are comfortable to shop in, take off and put on easily to try things on, too.
