It is okay to have depression, it is okay to have anxiety and it is okay to have an adjustment disorder. We need to improve the conversation. We all have mental health in the same way we all have physical health. -Prince Harry Keep smiling, keep talking and know it is ok to be open about it. Anxiety is something I have always felt has a string hold over me. I have let it rule me, hold me back and influence my every move. This year I decided to face it head on and stop calling it “my anxiety” (power in the tongue). I choose to acknowledge when I am feeling nervous, overwhelmed and even scared. Take a step back, talk to someone (usually my sister) and try the same thing again the following day. I refuse to let it stop me from my God ordained destiny, I CHOOSE TO KEEP SMILING.
