A day at the beach with a 4 yr old and a 5 month old is logistically complicated but doable. Here are some of our faves from this trip. A wagon! This was invaluable to haul everything from the house to the beach. A tent. Definitely more worth it for sunny days or days where you’ll spend at least a few hours. We didn’t set it up every day. Chairs for everyone. We got our 4 yr old a chair this year, and while he didn’t always use it, when he wanted to he wasn’t stealing ours. Beach toys. This could be as simple as a bucket and a shovel.
