Choosing the right jeans can be hard. There are so many types of- straight jeans, slim jeans, flared, wide, barrel, mom’s jeans, boyfriends jeans - plus there is a high-waist, mid- waist, low waist, tons of different colors, fabrics and shades. How do you know which ones to choose? My advice is unless you have a perfect slim figure with long legs, go for high-waisted wide legs jeans in darker blue or black color. They should be full length, no trashing or appliqués, even color without washed off patches. These jeans are universally flattering for most shapes and they are timeless. They are especially flattering if you have larger midsection or muffin top belly. Choose jeans that are not too tight and made of ticker fabric so they don’t cling to all the rolls on your stomach and hips. It’s better to size up than down. If you have a short torso and long legs, mid-waisted jeans might look well on you as well. Full length jeans in darker colors will make your body look slimmer and legs longer, especially if paired with pointy toe shoes with small heels or wedges.
