I’m starting with this pink button-front midi skirt from Adam Lippes. I love the soft pink color and gold button details, but because the skirt is longer and more structured, I wanted to balance it with something cropped up top. So I’m pairing it with this brown cropped shirt jacket from L’Agence. I think the olive and pink work beautifully together, and the shorter length should help define my waist without competing with the skirt. Both pieces are from @renttherunway

Midsize petite girlies, if you’re ready to venture outside of skinny jeans, try this. 👀

Upgrading your wardrobe doesn’t only apply to your dressier looks. Your casual outfits deserve some love too!

If you’re not particularly heavy up top or bottom and tend to carry more of your weight through your midsection, skinny jeans can sometimes make your shape appear straighter.
