Rosemary oil: - [ ] Natural antioxidant - [ ] Anti-inflammatory properties that can mitigate scalp irritation and infections such as dandruff which further promotes hair growth - [ ] Increases blood supply to hair follicles = increased nutrients delivered to the scalp and prevention of hair loss due to lack of blood supply - [ ] Studies showing increased efficacy in hair growth among Rosemary oil groups compared to those of minoxidil (Rogaine) groups at 6 month measures. Proposed benefits: increased hair strength and shine, improve scalp health, increase moisture. Risks: allergic reaction, hair matting from oil thickness, clogged scalp pores Risk profile = LOW.
