I’m literally queen of the reviews and somehow still got burned by these wide leg jeans from Old Navy

On the site, they’re shown as:
• full length
• 100% cotton
• embroidered scallop hem
(We love that)

What I got:
→ 30” inseam
→ very much cropped (and not in a good way on me)
→ waist not even close, fit more like a 12 than an 8

I can deal with vanity sizing…
but don’t call something “long” when it’s barely average
Honestly, I was more excited than I should’ve been… and yeah, I’m a little annoyed
Even the other pieces I grabbed felt kinda flimsy for “100% cotton”
I want Old Navy to get it right so bad…
but this one missed

American Tall just dropped camping gear… for tall people and I’m not exaggerating when I say this is genius.
A full setup — tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and even a chair — actually designed with height in mind.
The tent is longer and taller than standard, so you can stretch out, sit up, and move around without feeling cramped. It’s one of those things you don’t realize you’ve been compromising on until you don’t have to anymore.
The sleeping bag is properly extended with more room through the shoulders and hips — no more curling up or fighting for space. It’s made to actually let you sleep comfortably, not just “fit.”
Same idea with the sleeping pad — longer, wider, and cushioned in a way that supports your full body. No constant readjusting trying to stay on it.
And the chair… finally something that isn’t awkwardly low or undersized. Higher seat, supportive back, and actually comfortable to sit in for more than five minutes.
It’s one of those launches that just makes sense — tall-specific pieces that feel intentional instead of like an afterthought.

SPANX dropped new colors in the AirEssentials wide leg pants… and I swear they got longer 👀
I’ve always been on the fence about the length, but they’re listed at a 35” inseam—which is actually long for a wide leg.
For reference, my Venice wide legs from Athleta are 34” and hit just right… so this feels promising.
Also—kind of into the color blocking on these sets. Even the track jacket is getting some tall-friendly reviews, which we don’t hear nearly enough of.

33” inseam… but they hit the ground on me 👀
These satin wide leg pants from Anthropologie are listed at a 33” inseam—
but at 6’3” with a 36” inseam, they’re actually too long for flats (learned that the hard way when they kept ending up under my heel).
Here’s why:
It’s not just inseam—it’s the rise + drop.
A longer rise changes where the pant sits, which can give you more length overall.
So if you’ve ever thought:
“33” isn’t long enough for me”…
you might be right—or you might just need a different cut.
For reference:

square toe ballet flats + floaty cami + fitted cardigan

The Endless Pants… in a barrel leg 👀
If you’ve followed me for a while, you know these are my go-to workwear pants.
I own multiple pairs… so when they dropped this version, I didn’t hesitate.
Fit notes (important):
I’d say these run true to size.
– relaxed through the leg (that barrel shape)
– slightly roomy in the waist
– still that same comfortable stretch
If you want them:
→ slouchy/relaxed → go true to size
→ more fitted in the waist + bum → you could size down
For reference:
I’m almost 40, 6’3”, 36” inseam
Usually between a 6–8, and I grabbed a 6
Why I like the barrel shape:
I have a straighter frame, and this adds shape without feeling oversized.
Wide leg can sometimes feel like too much fabric.
This gives structure instead.

Just styled these new barrel Endless Pants from Athleta and I’m really into how the shape changes the whole feel of a work outfit.
This is my kind of business casual — easy, polished, but not stiff. The barrel leg gives a more relaxed silhouette, paired with a structured plaid blazer in warm neutrals + teal tones that feels very “spring workwear transition” even though it still layers like a coat. Finished it off with my The Office of Angela Scott boots for a little detail moment at the heel. Wore this for a full day of meetings and sitting and it held up perfectly — comfortable but still put together.
