This simple invitation engaged his sense of sight and gave him space to explore, experiment, and build on his own ideas without me telling him what the outcome should be. That’s one of the things I love most about sensory play… it doesn’t have to mean elaborate sensory bins or complicated setups. Play that engages the senses can be incredibly simple. Our role doesn’t always have to be to entertain constantly. Sometimes it’s simply to provide the opportunity, observe, and build on their curiosity. These color changing lights made this setup feel extra magical. LTKdayinmylife LTKmomlife LTKKids
