There’s something so grounding about a slow summer morning ☀️ Today’s invitation to play was as simple as it gets: easel paper, large gems, and watercolors. We started by painting the shadows and ended up just exploring how the colors moved around the stones. It was such a nice 20 minutes of calm and quiet conversation while we painted. Sometimes the best way to connect is to just sit on the ground and create together. It usually takes us about a week into summer break to find our groove, and this was the first morning I haven’t wanted to pull my hair out by 9AM 😂 LTKdayinmylife LTKmomlife LTKKids
