If there’s one place that made us slow down and truly take it all in, it was Lake Kawaguchiko. 🗻✨

With Mount Fuji standing beautifully in the distance, Oishi Park felt like the perfect escape. We spent the afternoon strolling through the colorful flower fields, admiring the views, and enjoying local ice cream made from ingredients sourced right from the region.

In a trip filled with unforgettable experiences, this was one of those moments that reminded us to simply pause and appreciate where we are. Sometimes the best travel memories aren’t packed itineraries—they’re the quiet moments that stay with you long after you’ve gone home.

Our last big adventure before heading home: a day trip around Mount Fuji 🗻🇯🇵 If you're visiting Japan, I highly recommend a guided bus tour—it’s such an easy way to see several of Mount Fuji’s most iconic viewpoints in a single day. From the peaceful swans at Lake Yamanaka and the crystal-clear springs of Oshino Hakkai to the famous Lawson photo spot, every stop felt straight out of a postcard. We also visited Lake Kawaguchiko, Oishi Park, enjoyed local ice cream made with regional ingredients, and ended the day at two of the most breathtaking viewpoints of the trip: Chureito Pagoda and the picturesque Hikawa Clock Shop streets. Six unforgettable stops, countless photos, and the perfect way to say goodbye to Japan. 🗻✨🤍
