Recovery Vlog! Officially one week post-op. One more week like this but definitely going to start incorporating a bit more normalcy to my days. Doing things as simple as putting my contacts on and applying eyeliner today really set a different tone to my day. Made me feel just a bit more present and more willing to try to manage certain things on my own instead of calling on my husband or kids. Of course, I’m still taking things slowly and only doing what my body feels capable of at the moment. I would love to be up and about but I know the healing takes time and mindfulness. I’ve never been know to be a patient person, so this is all such a huge mindset shift.
