This Reading loft with arch bookshelves is the perfect place for our kid’s library of books.

We built custom shelves to hold all the kids’ books, added vintage library steps from a yard sale for character, and brought in an adjustable chaise from @Wayfair for a soft, cozy reading spot & a neutral soft pile rug. This reading loft has become such a special spot in our home! 📚 It was our big spring DIY project to house most of our kids’ books. Before this, their books were crammed into two tiny shelves (and many were still in moving boxes). Now, they have a fun, functional space, and I love seeing them head over at bedtime to pick out a book. ❤️

Of course, the books are usually scattered everywhere, but I took a moment to straighten them up and reorganize them—and added a touch of decor to the space! 🌸

I love the addition of this 3D World Travel Map from Enjoy the Wood to our children’s library space, which we completed last month! 🗺️As much as I love being home, travel is a major part of our family goals. The kids are growing at light speed, and we want them to experience many other parts of the world before they leave home. 🧳 We enjoyed putting this map together, and I love that it includes mountains and rivers. It will be a great educational tool as the kids learn more about geography.
