Walmart and Old Navy have great pieces for the Transition to Spring. I want it to be warm but it’s not quite yet. Blazers like this boucle one have the weight and warmth to carry spring pieces early in the season under cool temperatures. It is TTS and has snaps. Gives Draper James vibes but is super affordable. Blazer already sold out, but I linked another. Cotton Top is 3/4 sleeve and cotton. Also TTS. Both are smalls. Jeans are size 8 old navy as is bag. Flats I already one from Vionic.

For most of the moderate summer in the northeast I don’t swim so I like a versatile outfit. I currently like the 5 inch but when I was feeling heavier and more self conscious I ordered the 9 inch board short version. I also tried the 3 inch recently not pictured here and was ok with that length as well. I’m wearing a size 12 here. I use a sun shirt as well if it’s not crazy hot. This is SPF50 and super lightweight. I ordered a medium in the swim shirt. They both run true to size. I usually pair this with a tankini top and I have enough coverage to feel comfortable walking around or running after kids, can get wet and don’t have to worry about getting sunscreen on my everyday clothes. The swimsuits themselves and tankini tops and bottoms were not as true to size so beware.

I love this bright red striped cropped quarter zip with light blue denim shorts. Both from Target. Such a departure for me in terms of the color palette, but it’s bright and summery and also worked for the Fourth of July 🇺🇸 weekend. Everything is size medium. Layered it with an adorable 🦞 cape cod cropped tee from Walmart. Total budget look. Only splurge is the reef platform sandals. They’re my favorite water shoes for pool and beach. I have bought them in so many colors! Super comfortable, practical, and cute! The silver was limited release but they still have loads of colors
