How we built this curved microcement plaster hood. 🤌🏼 DETAILS BELOW -built a box skeleton frame out of 3/4” plywood (hood dimensions are 27.5” H x 45” W x 21” D) -cut 3 curved plywood pieces for each side and attached to the frame -had our hood insert installed inside the frame: Model @ 36”(SKSHI3601S) -took 1/4” prefinished birch plywood and kerf cut on the insides of the 2 areas that needed to follow the curve -wrapped and stapled the (kerf cut) 1/4” birch plywood over the top of box frame to make one smooth surface -primed, and then applied Meoded CONCRETTA FS MICROCEMENT PLASTER in the color “Calm White” **be sure to check our other reels on Instagram @rangerhome_nw for a step by step of how we applied the microcement plaster and a cost breakdown for this project 🙌🏼 LTKHome LTKstorytime
