Because of the thinner profile, our fabricator recommended a 3.5” depth and secured it with extra-strength epoxy—no cutting into drywall or additional brackets required. DETAILS BELOW- exactly how our painter achieved this beautiful limewash finish. 🫶🏼

FEATURED PRODUCT: JH wall paints Limewash Paint- COLOR: NAINOA 500

• Use a roller to apply Mineral Prime to all walls and the ceiling (for both new drywall and previously painted surfaces).

• If the limewash is very thick, add a small amount of water to help it spread and create more natural movement and variation.

• Apply the limewash using a block brush in a crisscross pattern.

• Keep a wet edge by lightly misting the surface with water if it begins to dry.

• Once dry, apply a second coat using the same technique.

• If you’d like a harder cure, lightly mist water over the final coat or apply a Protective Matte Wall Sealer (we chose not to do this step).

How we built this curved microcement plaster hood. 🤌🏼 DETAILS BELOW

-built a box skeleton frame out of 3/4” plywood (hood dimensions are 27.5” H x 45” W x 21” D)

-cut 3 curved plywood pieces for each side and attached to the frame

-had our hood insert installed inside the frame: Model @ 36”(SKSHI3601S)

-took 1/4” prefinished birch plywood and kerf cut on the insides of the 2 areas that needed to follow the curve

-wrapped and stapled the (kerf cut) 1/4” birch plywood over the top of box frame to make one smooth surface

-primed, and then applied Meoded CONCRETTA FS MICROCEMENT PLASTER in the color “Calm White”

Limewash is all in the technique 🤌🏼 DETAILS BELOW- how to achieve this beautiful finish ✨

FEATURED COLOR: JH Wall Paints LIMEWASH PAINT - NAINOA 500

•use a roller to paint Mineral Prime on all the walls & ceiling (for new drywall and previously painted surfaces)

•if limewash is really thick, add a little water to help it spread for more mottling/variation

•using a block brush paint in a crisscross pattern

•keep a wet edge by spraying a light mist of water if it starts to dry

•after it’s dry, brush on a 2nd coat repeating the same steps as before

•if you want to cure the limewash harder you can very lightly mist water over the final coat or add a Protective Matte Wall Sealer (we did not do this step)
