Another personal project for us tackled (almost). After being in the house for sometime, we decided that this room was not best utilized as the playroom for our girls and should be there shared bedroom. This was our first time to work with trim, molding, and painting like we did. I didn’t want to spend the money on wallpaper as I knew that the girls would play pretty hard in this room and wanted something durable and budget friendly for us. I decided on trimming out the room, including the window to dress it up before making the upper half look like striped pink wallpaper. It was a serious labor of love, but I would do it again because it looks so perfect and precious. I found these beds on Amazon and a Wayfair and snag them on a sale on Amazon and they really inspired the entire room. It was just the perfect Parisian princess vibe that made me pull it all together. I’m still on the hunt for a nightstand so I have a temporary accent table working with a cordless lamp for now. But just a few more final touches including the bedding and this room will be 100% perfect.
