No skill necessary, $10 colorful lampshade DIY. All you need is embroidery thread in the colors of your choosing and a lampshade. This is a perfect way to upcycle a cheap thrifted lampshade, and I love how it can be customized to suit any style. I’m linking all of the thread colors I used to create mine (there are a lot of shades to choose from so get these exact ones if you want to create the same look). I needed a total of 9 (across 5 colors) for a small lampshade (7” on the bottom, 4” at the top, height of 6”). I already had a hot glue gun, but if you don’t have one, you’ll need that too, and I promise you’ll find other uses for it. LTKhome
