For today’s First Impression Friday, I’m trying a new release, Amouage Line 618. Check out the notes!

-top: hojari frankincense, black pepper, pineapple, peach, plum
-mid: pine, heliotrope, coconut milk
-base: patchouli, sandalwood, guaiac wood, leather

Now based on these notes, I expected this to smell a bit different than it does, but I’m still excited to explore it more. I expect this to smell different throughout the wear of the fragrance and I’m excited to see how the weather affects the smell.

Transparency Time: I wasn’t going to post this video because when I watched the footage, I honestly didn’t feel “pretty”. I also felt like I was stumbling over my words. Right as I was about to delete the footage, I remembered the promise that I made to myself. For the last year or so, I’ve vowed to be kinder to myself and not dwell so much on my “flaws”. I decided to start talking to myself like I would talk to a friend. With that being said, I decided to edit and upload the video and not worry that I’m not looking or sounding perfect in it! I’m sharing this with you in hopes that it may encourage at least one of you to get out of your own head. Being pretty doesn’t just mean how you look on the outside, it’s something that radiates from within. 💓
