For today’s First Impression Friday, I’m trying a new release, Amouage Line 618. Check out the notes!

-top: hojari frankincense, black pepper, pineapple, peach, plum
-mid: pine, heliotrope, coconut milk
-base: patchouli, sandalwood, guaiac wood, leather

Now based on these notes, I expected this to smell a bit different than it does, but I’m still excited to explore it more. I expect this to smell different throughout the wear of the fragrance and I’m excited to see how the weather affects the smell.

Transparency Time: I wasn’t going to post this video because when I watched the footage, I honestly didn’t feel “pretty”. I also felt like I was stumbling over my words. Right as I was about to delete the footage, I remembered the promise that I made to myself. For the last year or so, I’ve vowed to be kinder to myself and not dwell so much on my “flaws”. When I saw the name of this fragrance, I was definitely intrigued. At first sniff, it’s a gorgeous slightly chai spiced iris fragrance with some nutty nuances. I am going to wear this tonight and will report back tomorrow in my stories!

A vanilla fragrance is gonna get me every time! I came across Vanilla Aura by Maison Asrar while perusing the perfume sites last week. The notes sounded promising so I figured it was worth a try for less than $40!
