Smothered Baked Turkey Wings 🍗✨ Fall-off-the-bone turkey wings smothered in a rich, flavorful gravy! This is perfect for Sunday dinner, Thanksgiving, or the Holidays if you don’t want to make a whole turkey. ✨Save this post✨ Ingredients 6 turkey wings (wing and drum connected) I eyeballed the seasoning, but here’s a guide to help you make this dish perfect every time. Seasoning: 2 tsp Cajun seasoning 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (Season both sides) 1/2 red bell pepper, 1/2 green bell pepper, 1/2 yellow bell pepper, diced (or you can use 1 container of tri pepper mix) 1 onion, diced 2 cups chicken broth 1 tsp Better Than Bouillon 2 cans cream of chicken soup 1 packet onion soup mix Olive oil Cornstarch (optional) Directions: 1️⃣ Add turkey wings to a baking dish and coat it with a little olive oil (just enough to lightly coat the wings), season generously with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika. (Adjust the seasoning as you like!) 2️⃣ Add red, green, and yellow bell peppers and onions on top. 3️⃣ In a bowl, whisk together chicken broth and Better Than Bouillon. Pour it along the sides of the turkey wings to keep the seasoning intact. 4️⃣ In another bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup and onion soup mix. Pour this mixture over the turkey. 5️⃣ Bake covered with foil on 375 for 3 hours (taking the foil off during the last 30 mins) The longer you cook it covered, the more tender the wings will be. 6️⃣ Optional Gravy Thickening Step If you’d like a thicker gravy, stir in a cornstarch slurry during the last 30 minutes (after removing the foil). To make the slurry, whisk 1 tablespoon cornstarch with a little cold or room temp chicken broth until smooth, then pour it into the pan juices. For a thicker consistency, you can add a bit more cornstarch slurry if needed. The gravy will thicken as it finishes baking. thanksgiving thanksgivingfood thanksgivingrecipes onepanmeals onepanmeal easyrecipe easyrecipes easyrecipesathome easyrecipeideas hosting LTKFamily LTKHome LTKParties
