Feeling so thankful these days 💙 Nothing says love more than homemade and I love spoiling my people! And best part, it’s super affordable to make a big batch that gifts to several people. This batch made a ton!! It was SOO easy to make. Just set and forget it in a crock pot! 🍎 Homemade Apple Butter — the sweetest way to say “thank you” 🍂 All you need: • 5½ lbs sweet apples (Golden Delicious, McIntosh, Fuji, or Gala — no need to peel!) • 1 cup brown sugar • ¾ cup white sugar • 1 Tbsp cinnamon • ¼ tsp salt • ⅛ tsp ground cloves • 1 vanilla bean (or 1½ tsp vanilla extract) How to make it: 1️⃣ Chop apples and toss into a slow cooker. 2️⃣ Mix sugars, cinnamon, salt, and cloves in a bowl, then pour over the apples and stir. 3️⃣ Cover and cook on low for 10 hours. 4️⃣ Blend until smooth, stir in vanilla, and cook uncovered for 2 more hours, stirring now and then. 5️⃣ Cool, jar it up, and store in the fridge — it keeps for about 2 weeks. Spread it on biscuits, swirl into oatmeal, or gift it with a little note that says “thankful for you.” 🫶 crockpotmeals homemadegifts diygifts teachergift thanksgiving applebutter cookwithme fallrecipes LTKHome LTKSeasonal LTKGiftGuide
