Painters tape and a marker are all you need for this fun DIY scavenger hunt activity you can set up in minutes!

On a large piece of tape, draw multiple Halloween items (candy, pumpkin, ghost, witch, bat, etc.). On an other piece of tape (I like to do a different color), draw the same items. Hide these pieces around the house and then let your child go search for them and match.

Add baking soda to a tray or dish. Add drop(s) of food coloring to vinegar and give your kids eye droppers, syringes, or measuring spoons. Let your kids drop the colored vinegar onto the baking soda and observe the magical chemical reaction!
