✨ Makeup Brush Reset ✨ A clean brush doesn’t just look better—it applies makeup better and can help extend the life of your brushes. Here’s exactly how I clean mine: 🫧 Fill two shallow containers with warm water: • One for small brushes • One for larger brushes I separate them by size so I can keep the ferrules (the metal part that holds the bristles) above the waterline. 🧴 Add a small squirt of a mild baby detergent to each container and let only the bristles soak for a few minutes while you prep the cleaning mat. 🪄 Wet a silicone makeup brush cleaning mat, add another small squirt of detergent, then gently swirl each brush over the different textured nubs to loosen makeup trapped deep in the bristles. 💧 Hold the brush over the mat under running water and continue swirling until the water runs clear. Repeat soap, swirl and rinse if needed. 🧺 Gently squeeze out excess water, lightly swirl the bristles across a clean towel to reshape them, then lay the brushes flat with the bristles hanging slightly over the edge of the counter until completely dry.
