We have a few trips coming up and I wanted to find a sneaker that would be comfortable, stylish and equally practical.

For our Europe trip, I wanted something waterproof because summer rain is fairly unpredictable and the last thing I want is wet feet.

The Vessy is cushioned, waterproof and can easily be wiped down. That’s a win!

The Reefs are the lightest weight sneaker I have ever tried. And I love the collapsible heel option. Plus the breathable mesh makes it perfect for hot weather.

There’s nothing worse than aching feet when you’re on vacation.

I’ve been testing shoes for an upcoming trip to Europe and these both get my stamp of approval.

This is exactly the kind of piece I look for when I’m packing: stretchy, easy, packable, built-in bra, and versatile enough to go from sightseeing to dinner with just a few accessory swaps or added layers.

Heading out of town? Don’t provide all of your personal details on your luggage tag. Sadly, there are people who use it for their personal gain.

👉Use a good luggage tag (not the free ones at the airport that are flimsy and fall apart). And make sure it has a flap to protect your information. These come in 11 colors. Have tagged several options.

‼️You only need to include your name (I only provide my first name), email and phone number.

🧳 If your bag is lost, the airline is going to call you. Plus, if you’re on your way out of town, your home address isn’t going to help. And you don’t need to let anyone know where you’re going on your trip.

With over a million miles flown ✈️ and counting, you could say I’ve become a bit of a packing queen.

These few things have been such game changers for my travels. Simple, easy, affordable items that just make life less stressful and traveling more enjoyable.

1. A satin lined shower cap. This keeps your hair soft and frizz free, plus it’s oversized and will keep all of your hair dry. Good bye 👋 to small hotel shower caps that never fit.

2. A hard-shell, double sided sunglass 🤓 case. Since I started wearing glasses several years ago, this has been a lifesaver. Plus it keeps my glasses safe and protected.

3. I discovered this portable, rechargeable fan 🪭 last summer in Europe. The lines for everything were long. The sun was beating down. I was having hot flashes. Honestly, I was miserable. I overpaid for mine because I was standing outside the Eiffel Tower and it was heavily marked up, but it was still worth it. I’ve given one to almost all of my friends. It’s super lightweight. And this one is very affordable.

4. My catch-all bag 💼 contains everything I need during my flight (AirPods, portable charger, hand sanitizer, lip balm, pen, etc) and when I get where I’m going, I empty it out. Then I use it as an evening clutch. Less to pack.

Being on the road often has taught me a lot about the best carry-on bags. This is my personal carry-on and I love it.

I don’t do shopping Hampshire dressing room try-ons because I don’t believe in buying outfits.

I order great staples that can hold up all day and go into night with a few small swaps.

The base here is the same - a soft and comfy black tee with great structure, a relaxed cropped denim with some stretch and a jacket that goes with just about everything I own.

For dinner, I’ve added a scarf, swapped out my ballet flat for a slingback and chose a smaller clutch for dinner.

This also makes packing for travel so much easier. No need to pack multiple outfits. The accessories do the heavy lifting.

Everything runs true to size.
