Generally speaking I’d choose shorter styles for wearing with wider legged silhouettes and longer styles for a slimmer bottom. This can be particularly important when you’re shorter but less of an issue if you’re taller!

AD The carrot jean @marksandspencer is another excellent alternative to the barrel. More voluminous than the mom but less so than the barrel. Another tried and tested style that lots of my clients have and love.
