This isn’t the full reveal… but it does show one of my favorite views in this space. I’m 99% finished. The full colorful closet reveal is coming soon. All I need is something to frame my little quilted heart for the gallery wall, and somehow that feels poetic and very me. After months of wallpaper, paint, trim, and second guessing… it comes down to a heart. If you scroll back, this started as a dark, narrow hallway. No windows. Just a pass through space that didn’t feel like it belonged to anything. I wanted to turn it into my dream colorful closet, but with a long footprint like this, I wasn’t sure how much it would actually give me. Instead of relying on one paint color, I layered color through two different wallpaper patterns. Pattern on the walls. Pattern on the ceiling. To keep it cohesive, I painted the wood the exact background color from the ceiling wallpaper. That choice grounded the whole room and let the patterns feel collected rather than chaotic. There’s no natural light in here, so I added a frosted glass door to borrow it. Yesterday the light poured in and it felt completely different. Today it’s gray and flat and I’m glad I caught it when it was glowing. You can swipe to see how this hallway renovation evolved over time. Did I know it would land exactly like this? No. Renovation rarely follows the first plan. The space answers back. It tells you what works, what doesn’t, what fits your life. And somewhere between vision and reality, something more personal takes shape. Full reveal coming soon. Just waiting on a frame for a quilted heart. casasconencanto closetinspo homeinspo decorinspo dailydoseofcolor
