To prep my type 4 high porosity natural hair before shampooing, especially sulfate shampoo, I like to prepoo. Prepoo with this amla oil. It's great for not just detangling my coily curls but it helps to soften my hair and adds extra slip to the shampoo. The oil is a nice barrier to keep my hair from feeling dry and stripped during the shampoo process. Making wash day easier! Plus, this oil would make an excellent oil for hot oil treatments because it has moisturizing and repairing properties.
