Backyard garden diaries: Week 2 Cleaning up the garden today means pulling weeds, clearing leaves, and slowly getting things ready for spring. I always forget how rough a garden looks before it starts blooming. Right now it’s a little messy… but it’s already so much better than where we started. This is the part of gardening you don’t always see all the slow work before everything starts blooming.
