Things so good I’d buy them twice.

I’m in my 50s now, and here’s something wild: I look better than I did in my 30s and 40s.

For years I didn’t even realize how much I’d let myself fade into the background. Skipping the mirror instead of looking in it. Putting everyone else’s needs before my own, every single day.

Turning it around wasn’t one big overhaul. It was small, daily acts of choosing myself — the right fit over the “safe” size, sun rays instead of something to erase, showing up as me instead of hiding.

Your 50s aren’t a decline. They’re a return to yourself. Here are some of the things that helped me!

Everything on my list for spring

These woven Mary Jane flats are such a cute new find. I love the rich brown color and little buckle detail for fall outfits. They would look so cute with jeans, skirts, or dresses.

What you wear underneath is just as important! 🤍 We love the support and comfort of this bra. s

This paisley print dress from Macy’s is such a pretty choice for fall. The burgundy bag and heels add a rich touch, while the gold jewelry pulls the whole look together. We’d wear this one for a fall wedding, dinner out, or a special event.

Amazon’s #1 seller for a reason! We’ve been using this beauty find and have been so impressed with the results. It has quickly become one of those products we love keeping in our routine and reaching for again and again. s

This Amazon striped dress is such a fun choice for a fall day out. I love the brown and white stripes paired with the cardigan and brown accessories for a classic, easy look. It would be so cute for brunch, shopping, or a casual day out.

Early fall dressing starts with a few great pieces, and these Amazon finds make it easy to bring the season into your wardrobe. We’re loving the rich olive tones, cozy knits, and classic accessories for creating an easy fall look. These are such great pieces to mix and match as the season changes.

Sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself! Life is too short to take everything so seriously, and we’re always ready to find the humor in the little moments. Just sharing a little fun from our day today.

One of our favorite hand soaps for everyday use! We love how it leaves our hands feeling soft and moisturized without feeling greasy. It’s such a nice one to keep by the sink and reach for throughout the day.

Love all this decor from Target. I might be redecorating for Christmas after 30 years. Who’s with me?

Heading out to play Mexican Train with friends, and this is what I’m wearing! I love how pretty and easy this dress feels for a casual day with friends. Such a fun outfit for getting together, playing a few rounds, and enjoying the day.

We never thought we'd get to say this. As twin sisters and breast cancer survivors, we walked through some of the hardest days of our lives side by side. The fear was real. The waiting was real. The strength it took to keep going was real.
Today we get to turn all of that into hope.
Our MacKenzie-Childs x T&T Heart Hope plate and bow is here, and we made it with so much love. Every heart on it stands for the people we've walked beside, the ones we've celebrated, and the ones we're still fighting for.
A portion of every purchase benefits The Pink Fund, which supports people in breast cancer treatment who are facing financial crisis. Because no one should have to choose between healing and keeping the lights on, and it doesn't matter who you are.
Set it on your table. Gift it to someone who needs a reminder that joy comes back. Let it be proof that hard chapters don't get the last word.

Tried and true for a reason! I’ve had mine since the 1990s, and it’s still one of my favorite beauty tools after all these years. Some beauty staples really do stand the test of time.

I know, I know, I'm being kind of a baby.

#LTKootd #LTKdayinmylife

This got a glow up we definitely didn’t see coming! The little details make such a fun difference and completely change the finished look. We’re loving how it all came together.

#LTKSeasonal #LTKOver40 #LTKMidsize

Holy smokes, this is good! I added all of it to my cart and can’t wait to spruce up my home. I’m especially excited about the trees and the gold ornaments for outside!

These pants look so similar, and we love finding affordable options that give you a similar look for less. If you’ve been eyeing this style, these are two great options to compare. Both are worth checking out to see which pair works best for you.

A portable charger is one travel essential we always keep in our bags. It keeps our phones powered for directions, boarding passes, photos, and everything in between. Small and easy to pack, it makes staying connected while traveling so much easier.

Countryside vibes! Loving these looks.

Tegan is ok and that’s all that matters but for the people of the city of Detroit what you have to deal with is atrocious.
