I’m in my 50s now, and here’s something wild: I look better than I did in my 30s and 40s.

For years I didn’t even realize how much I’d let myself fade into the background. Skipping the mirror instead of looking in it. Putting everyone else’s needs before my own, every single day.

Turning it around wasn’t one big overhaul. It was small, daily acts of choosing myself — the right fit over the “safe” size, sun rays instead of something to erase, showing up as me instead of hiding.

Your 50s aren’t a decline. They’re a return to yourself. Here are some of the things that helped me!

One of our favorite hand soaps for everyday use! We love how it leaves our hands feeling soft and moisturized without feeling greasy. It’s such a nice one to keep by the sink and reach for throughout the day.

Love all this decor from Target. I might be redecorating for Christmas after 30 years. Who’s with me?

Heading out to play Mexican Train with friends, and this is what I’m wearing! I love how pretty and easy this dress feels for a casual day with friends. Such a fun outfit for getting together, playing a few rounds, and enjoying the day.

We never thought we'd get to say this. As twin sisters and breast cancer survivors, we walked through some of the hardest days of our lives side by side. The fear was real. The waiting was real. The strength it took to keep going was real.
Today we get to turn all of that into hope.
Our MacKenzie-Childs x T&T Heart Hope plate and bow is here, and we made it with so much love. Every heart on it stands for the people we've walked beside, the ones we've celebrated, and the ones we're still fighting for.
A portion of every purchase benefits The Pink Fund, which supports people in breast cancer treatment who are facing financial crisis. Because no one should have to choose between healing and keeping the lights on, and it doesn't matter who you are.
Set it on your table. Gift it to someone who needs a reminder that joy comes back. Let it be proof that hard chapters don't get the last word.

Tried and true for a reason! I’ve had mine since the 1990s, and it’s still one of my favorite beauty tools after all these years. Some beauty staples really do stand the test of time.

I know, I know, I'm being kind of a baby.

This got a glow up we definitely didn’t see coming! The little details make such a fun difference and completely change the finished look. We’re loving how it all came together.

Holy smokes, this is good! I added all of it to my cart and can’t wait to spruce up my home. I’m especially excited about the trees and the gold ornaments for outside!

These pants look so similar, and we love finding affordable options that give you a similar look for less. If you’ve been eyeing this style, these are two great options to compare. Both are worth checking out to see which pair works best for you.

A portable charger is one travel essential we always keep in our bags. It keeps our phones powered for directions, boarding passes, photos, and everything in between. Small and easy to pack, it makes staying connected while traveling so much easier.

Tegan is ok and that’s all that matters but for the people of the city of Detroit what you have to deal with is atrocious.

I love these jeans I just got for my trip. 🔥

It’s true. They all want these. I will link all the different prices ones for you too! Xo

And the matching skirt looks exactly the same too. Together, they make such a cute set that can easily be dressed up or down. Definitely a combination we’ll be reaching for again and again.

She wouldn’t give me a single hint, so I had to take my best guess! I went with polka dots, and apparently I know her pretty well because I was right. What would your guess have been?

A few Target finds we’ve been loving lately and think are worth adding to your list. There are so many great pieces all in one place, making it easy to find something you’ll love. Definitely a few favorites worth checking out.

If you’re over 50, we’re so glad you’re here. We love a good shapewear piece for giving a little extra smoothing and support under dresses or fitted outfits, but the most important thing is wearing what makes you feel confident and comfortable. Thank you for showing up, sharing your stories, and being part of our sisterhood! 💃 s

Packing up for the next trip and loving how versatile this sweater is, with its more fitted feel and two different ways to wear it. It’s such an easy piece to style and makes a great addition to a travel wardrobe. Definitely one I’ll be reaching for throughout the season.

Who else wore these? s

#LTKdayinmylife #LTKSeasonal #LTKOver40

T+T, what to wear! This Social Threads sweater with flared jeans and brown boots is such a cute choice for a fall brunch. I’d wear this for brunch with the girls, a weekend shopping trip, or a casual lunch date. s
