I’m in my 50s now, and here’s something wild: I look better than I did in my 30s and 40s.

For years I didn’t even realize how much I’d let myself fade into the background. Skipping the mirror instead of looking in it. Putting everyone else’s needs before my own, every single day.

Turning it around wasn’t one big overhaul. It was small, daily acts of choosing myself — the right fit over the “safe” size, sun rays instead of something to erase, showing up as me instead of hiding.

Your 50s aren’t a decline. They’re a return to yourself. Here are some of the things that helped me!

Everything on my list for spring

She wouldn’t give me a single hint, so I had to take my best guess! I went with polka dots, and apparently I know her pretty well because I was right.

Head straight to the big boys’ section for this shopping hack! 👀 We grabbed an XL boys’ Polo shirt, which fits like a women’s large or 10–12, while the boys’ large fits more like a women’s medium, and they’re about a third of the price. We actually prefer the boys’ fit through the shoulders, so if you’re broader up top like we are, this one is definitely worth trying.

Just a little Target run!

This under-$50 Amazon dress looks SO much more expensive than it is! 🍂 We love the classic stripes and how easily it can be dressed up or down for fall. Add loafers and a sweater over the shoulders for an effortlessly polished look that works for brunch, the classroom, the office, and everything in between!

I finally got my hands on this Walmart knit jacket, and it was worth the wait! The knit feels soft and cozy, and it’s such an easy layer to throw on with jeans, trousers, or everyday fall outfits. Such a good Walmart find to have in your closet for cooler days.

This Amazon fall outfit has all the cozy details I want right now. 🤎🍂 The statement cardigan with wide-leg denim, brown Mary Janes, and a chocolate tote makes such a cute everyday look for the season. So many affordable Amazon fashion finds that look way more expensive than they are!

Sharing a quick outfit we put together so you can see the formula we worked with! Denim on denim with a turtle neck underneath the jacket! The standout item of this look is the plaid shawl that really takes this outfit up a notch

I buy these in multiples! They’re so comfortable and wonderfully feminine. s

May not be the fittest but certainly these sets are the cutest!

Amazing shape wear that we wear all the time. s

I love the details that make this a stylish piece. s

Just the prettiest! s

The best! s

Tegan is ok and that’s all that matters but for the people of the city of Detroit what you have to deal with is atrocious.

The prefect slouchy suede bag! s

Top seller! s

We are the baddest QUEENS! And you are too!

Tailored and beautiful on. The blazer is a closet staple but this one you’ll want to wear time and time again. s

Travel essential! s

I have multiples of these because I wear them so much! s

The jeans that fit Eveyone and look amazing on! s

We never thought we'd get to say this. As twin sisters and breast cancer survivors, we walked through some of the hardest days of our lives side by side. The fear was real. The waiting was real. The strength it took to keep going was real.
Today we get to turn all of that into hope.
Our MacKenzie-Childs x T&T Heart Hope plate and bow is here, and we made it with so much love. Every heart on it stands for the people we've walked beside, the ones we've celebrated, and the ones we're still fighting for.
A portion of every purchase benefits The Pink Fund, which supports people in breast cancer treatment who are facing financial crisis. Because no one should have to choose between healing and keeping the lights on, and it doesn't matter who you are.

T+T looks we love! This J.Crew plaid jacket paired with a brown cable-knit sweater and chocolate brown pants is a great combination for fall. I’d add a printed scarf, Mary Jane flats, and a brown tote to finish the look.

I got the cutest things at @Walmart recently! I’m so impressed with their recent drops! Everything under $60!

Our current body wash obsession! It smells so luxurious and leaves or skin feeling hydrated! This is a must-have for the winter months especially

Thank you for the prayers!

This J.Crew Cardigan is one that Tegan and I wear at least a few days a week. On days we are together we actually have to call each other to make sure both of us aren’t wearing it. Tegan has it in the cute Navy Blue with white contrast knitting on the color and I have it in pink. It’s just one of those cardigans that is a classic but also on trend.

Sharing a simple outfit formula for you! This will help putting together a look so much easier! Wearing size 30 jeans, medium top and sweater, large jacket!

Let’s do a @jcrew unboxing together! Some pieces that recently arrived that even my girls have had their eye on! You’ll be seeing us wearing these all throughout fall!

Now these are the type of fall outfits that makes us feel hot! We’re over 50 and proud of it! What a privilege it is to age 🤎

These are the must-have pants for fall! A barrel pant that comes in a stretch corduroy fabric! It’s giving Ralph Lauren without the price tag!

Fall shoe edit from Walmart.com. The extended options on the site are amazing! Stylish, comfortable and affordable!
