Black and white. Still my one of my favorite duos!🖤🤍 Yes! Yes! Warmer palettes are having a moment, and honestly, they’re beautiful. But I keep finding myself drawn back to this combination, and as a designer, I think I finally know why. Black and white isn’t a color story. It’s a structure story. It’s about contrast, proportion, and the way light moves through a space. Get those things right and the result is undeniable. What makes it feel current rather than cold is all in the layering; a warm-toned marble with dramatic veining, brass hardware, natural wood floors, linen and bouclé textiles. Suddenly you’re not looking at a stark palette. You’re looking at a room with real depth and intention. The same principle translates directly to how I dress. A structured black vest, a fluid white skirt, two-tone slingbacks. The outfit does exactly what a well-designed room does, it excludes confidence and style. Trends move. Timeless style doesn’t. So, if you’re drawn to warmer palettes right now, I support that! But if you are still loving this high contrast color way, I’d encourage you not to abandon it altogether. A little black goes a long way. But it can be fabulous! LTKPetite LTKWorkwear LTKootd LTKgrwm LTKootd LTKWorkwear
