Sensory color mixing activity for toddlers · Easy milk experiment · Preschool STEM idea In part two of our milk + food coloring tray play, we took it a step further and explored color theory through mixing and contrast. We began with swirled marbled colors (see part one pinned!), then fully mixed each section to reveal smooth pastels: 🩷 Pink 💛 Yellow 💧 Aqua 🍑 Peach (pink + yellow) 💜 Lavender (aqua + pink) 🌿 Green (yellow + aqua) Once mixed, each section became a uniform hue and then we arranged the tray to show complementary color pairs across from each other: 🩷 Pink ↔️ 🌿 Green 💛 Yellow ↔️ 💜 Purple 💧 Aqua ↔️ 🍑 Peach (split harmony) Low-prep, mesmerizing, and surprisingly educational, a beautiful way to introduce early STEM concepts through play.
