I’m not decorating my home for people who don’t have to clean it or live in it. There’s this constant pressure online that a home needs more decor, more styling, more “stuff” to be considered finished or cozy. But I’ve learned that every single item in a home comes with maintenance, time, and energy—and I’m intentional about what I choose to take on. My home is minimal because I value calm, ease, and functionality in my real life. Not because I’m trying to impress anyone or meet outside expectations. If you love a more decorated space, that’s great—but your home doesn’t have to look a certain way to be right. It just has to work for you. And for me, less works better. minimalish minimalisthome minimalist organizedhome simpleliving
