My go to breakfast or any time drink really but I especially love it in the morning! Here’s how you make it -and why you should drink it too- Ingredients (but not limited to) Chia seeds Honey Matcha Honey (optional) Rose hip elixir (optional) Direction’s: 2 table spoons of chia seeds 2 tea spoons of matcha 1table spoon to taste of honey Cap full of rose hip elixir (you can also make this!) 1.5 cups of high quality almond, pea protein milk or hemp milk. Shake -and let sit overnight or at least 3 hours. I like to pre make these and grab in the am. (You can also add oats and make a delicious over night oat cup!) The reason you need this- Chia seeds are protein packed at 4.7g per 1oz! They are complete amino acids holding all 9 and work with your body as they have high antioxidants for cell turnover. High in omega 3s, high in fiber which slows down sugar absorption, digestive support (they act as a prebiotic!) they are also rich in calcium, magnesium, phosphorus -which are critical for maintaining bone density (no dairy here) Not to mention keeps you full for so long! Matcha is one, if not my fav morning “coffee” drink as it holds L-theanine which promotes relaxation (but alertness!) and alpha brain wave activity, helping you stay focused without the “jitters” it’s full of antioxidants, offers brain support, liver and heart protection and more! Seriously all in one drink you are getting so many benefits that serve you for the full day. This is not even including the rose hip elixir and honey.
