July 1st: 13 years locd in today 🥳 They told me not to cut my hair so short because it wouldn’t fit me. They told me not to loc my hair because I would look “manish”, older, “unkept” and no man would ever want me. [the devil is a liarrrrr] 13 years later, I’m like “yuh, what was said?!” 😌 This life journey in particular has taught me to stay true to myself no matter what. No one sees the visions God put in my mind for a reason; it’s fa me!! There were times I couldn’t even see it but I had to trust that I would get there eventually. I never have to prove anything to anyone because I have proven to MYSELF that I can stay focused, disciplined, and loyal above all else.
