Grapefruit seed extract (GSE) is a substance derived from the seeds, pulp, and white membranes of grapefruits. The problem??
It contains traces of benzalkonium chloride → which is toxic!!

But the “natural” sweeteners like Stevia, monk fruit, date sugar and the like are controversial as well! With SO much chaos with “natural” marketing on labels some clarity is needed! &

So many times we supplement a poor diet with vitamins but it’s really WAY better for kids to get their actual nutrients from whole organic foods!

➡️That being said, if bloodwork reveals an actual deficiency and child may not be able to properly absorb nutrients from foods so, of course supplementing is crucial!

But get that bloodwork done first!
