This is the number one request in my community- what basics do you need to build a wardrobe that actuates serves YOU. These are the 15 items I use most often to create outfits I love over and over again. They work amazingly well mixed and matched among themselves, and are equally versatile when bringing new pieces in. They are my workhorses. My go-tos. The foundation of my fully FUNctional closet! Notes: • Beatles tee - I recommend the men’s fit in your regular size and choosing white for the color • Ecco sneakers- these will be tight on the first wear. Choose your regular size. I recommend white. • Button-down shirts- if you’re big busted, consider sizing up or choosing a style suited to your bust line. The Gal chambray is perfectly relaxed at your true size for small to regular bust lines. • Choose a skirt in a color that works with your current clothes. • The cream loafers run a bit large, so consider going down a half size. • Chelsea boots run a bit small. They’ll typically stretch, but you won’t regret going up a half size, either. • Choose the gauze white button-down if you get uncomfortable in button-downs. The fabric is thinner. Otherwise, a structured white button-down is my recommendation. • If the Ribcage denim doesn’t work well for your body, try a curvy fit subtle barrel jean or a slightly wider leg jean I’m cheering for you!
